I had a dream
in it
you were an unexplainable light

At this dream
I turn my head to the side and down
because I do not understand

If this dream
were real
I am the warmest sun to you

Is this poem a reflection of an experience?

To me, it is a reflection of the experience of life.

Dreams begin with a flash, an involuntary moment of conception; yet dreams may linger, leaving us to forever question the unresolved purpose.

It is this unresolved purpose that haunts the man in question. Why then did this dream exist?

Does it now hurt to have it? If the dream does not become real, when does it expire in dampness?

I like that reply better than the poem.

Why does the dream exist?

Perhaps we have big dreams and little dreams.

The dream will become real because he is both.

And he knows this.

Hey, me again

Very evocative wording and imagery. I feel a sense of disjointing between the stanzas. Not at all criticizing, as I'm wondering if this was an intentional move.

Evocative and provocative. Very powerful. I truly enjoyed it!
