A Snowflake

The night is black, the trees are bare, cloud gifts the moon his crown,
A snowflake lost, born from the frost, begins her journey down.

Unique in shape and size she falls, a feather on the breeze,
High aloft and cotton soft, she doesn't feel the freeze.

Tumbling further crystal clear, a diamond in descent
Symmetrical, electrical, her spirit ,heaven, scent...

I trundle through the winters night, my thoughts begin to wander,
To friends who've passed, lived, died, too fast...I stop and while and ponder.

A snowflake lands upon my nose, I recognise your smell,
Through tears I felt, the snowflake melt, it was you, I could tell......

Things I love n hate,

Ok, let's shovel the # before we get to the sweet bit

I hate titanic, know what for?? There's room for both them on that door.
She let him drown the wrinkled bitch, then acts a hero, FNUCK that's rich
I hate it when I've just a paper, queuing at the store, n some daft arse in front of me,
Won't let me go before, with a trolley load or more!
I hate adverts in movies, Because I forget the plot line,
I hate people who steal my poems then they'll lie n claim that they're not mine.
I hate summer, I have red hair so it's factor 50 everywhere,
I hate bullies, n people who're insincere
But my number one pet hate, is people who are late,
I just can't stand it when I'm made to wait!! (Really, my last relationship ended over my OCD with times)
Things I love,

I love poetry n writing, thundering n lightning.
Love my dad n his mad outlook n his light..
Love gaming, n reading... Belly laughs , succeeding!
N managing to smile through all the #e!!
I'm a lover not a hater, some would say a mass debater ;-)
I always make sure that my point is made,
I love musicals n drama, the Simpsons not futurama.
Love being blunt n I will call a spade a spade
Family guy, the life of Brian, happy tears, no fear of dying
Guess I'm just the loving kind of guy,
You may think that I've changed too much, but don't think that I'm some soft touch
I'd cut you up n wouldn't bat n eye....so enjoy my reply 😱

My dad (n a few of his 'quotes' lol)

As Angels wings sprout from his back, hacked cough, visible pains
Those shoulders that worked in the black, coal dust runs through his veins
A strong man, my hero, my dad, i see, a shadow sitting aside me
The reapers song grows louder, as a son, couldn't be prouder,
Old school, he tells me he's ok, leans forward builds a roll up
His wings appear, I gaze in awe, this man who brought the coal up.
Now struggling to walk ten yards, his blood as thick as tar,
He gets a taxi everywhere, the bus stop is too far. (He has a bus pass)
His spirit, he smiles n comforts me, I know I must be strong.
Funny as # 'get off "spacehook" smile through the reapers song!!

I started this poem heavy hearted, now I'm feeling better,
At least he's outlived Maggie thatcher, that bitch, we won't forget her.
She ripped the heart out of our village, industry gone, corporate pillage
And we're living here in Allentown, but there's plenty #ing coal in the ground!
84-85 my dad he fought, lost, yet still alive... 4 kids, 3 of them under five,
I don't know how to end this poem, my tears are dry, I'm rough.
I love that man with all my heart, heavens not good enough.
