Here's a "mind bender" for you:

(I know the correct answer, and the reasons someone might discover the correct answer.)

While at her mother's funeral, Sally met a very interesting man, but didn't find out who he was.

Sally never saw the man again.

Why did Sally kill her sister?

(If you've heard this before and know the answer, hold off and see how intelligent our members are.)

Emmm..okay..these aren't that difficult! (gulp!)

The man Sally met could have been her father who she has never met. When she told her sister about the meeting, the sister blabbed and both went into a major catfight, which ended in Sally's sisters death?

or....Sally's mother and herself are spies...the sister found out and Sally had to kill her??

Okay....maybe not....confused....guys..help??

This wasn't meant to be a stumper!!!!

How could it be an affair if she didn't know the man???

Sayin that, an affair between the mum, sister and man!

Poor Sally was getting jealous and lashed out...either that she felt left out?

Okay...gotta stop watching X-files...only seen 3 episodes but come on.....!!!!!!

Hint: the answer is very simple.

You're thinking too hard.

The mother is who died not the sister. So the answer is we don't know. ???????

God, I'm bad at these.

is it to see if the man would be at the other funeral, or was he the vicar...?

There are so many different answers to these deliberately vague riddles. On one hand, the death of the sister could be totally unrelated to the man and the funeral. The man has to have nothing to do with it because sally never knows who he is. Maybe the unknown man was a witness to the sister killing the mother. Maybe he was a police officer warning her that the sister killed the mother and Sally was next. The man was an old boyfriend of the sister and warned Sally of some plot the sister came up with.

Sally killed her sister for inheritance
Sally killed her sister because Sally stopped taking her medicine
Sally killed her sister because she was a serial killer
Sally killed her sister in self-defence

she liked the man a lot and wanted to see him again, so she killed her sis so she could attend the funeral and c him again.

how about the man gave sally evidence that her sister did the deed? and sally went to jail for the rest of her life, seeing no one, after she killed her sister

But Will's answer brought Lecter's attention completely back to the problem at hand. "Because she hoped this man she'd met would turn up her sister's funeral if he'd turned up to her mother's."

It was the answer given by ninety percent of serial killers tested. Never before had Lecter known an innocent man give that answer, for there were so many other reasons that should have occurred first to a
rational mind.

movieslash.allmyfault.net...

Seems like we have some very dangerous people on this board.

So... watch out for Pocket.

According to psychiatrists, those with psychotics tendancies are the only people likely to even consider the correct answer.

This is one case where it's good to be unable to think of the answer.

I couldnt think of it.

Does anyone else like serial killer novels? Messiah and the Lecter trilogy are the best.
