www.bbc.co.uk...

"Whenever I imagine the BBC signing off whilst nuclear weapons rain down on London (which is surprisingly often), I picture Abide With Me, sung by the Kings College Choir, being played," writes another reader. "This is the only song which can truly capture the end of the world; it is mournful, hopeful and quintessentially British."

BS full steam ahead! All onboard the BS train!

Just think of all the wacky terror talk of weapons of mass destruction, its always been, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf".

Just another fear mongering waste of time and energy.

Same old crapola just set in a different scenario. . . .

i guess you didn't read the article.
it's about what music a network might play when and if they do drop.

it's suppose to be humorous and entertaining as evidenced by the title of the article,"It's the end of the world, and the BBC feels fine" and the pictures.

Clearly you've never heard of British satire.

Sometimes when things are really crappy poking fun at something macabre like say the end of the world makes things seem not so bad after all.

I'd like to hear Benny Hills' Yakety sax.

It would make the ungodly terror and pointless struggle for survival a comical & humorous experience.

In all seriousness though, I think 2 Steps From Hell would have something appropriate.

Either " Velocitron " to go out in a thunderous blaze of glory.
Or " Fill my heart " for a more mellow & beautiful demise.

Both are good.

Just a thought though, how would the BBC broadcast after the initial EMP?

Racism aside London is so full of foreigners it barely classifies as a British city anymore and if they get the house of commons then Britain may be better off for it as that bunch are a group of idiotic hooray harries who are all my arse and overcome by the bombosity of there own exuberance, in other word's a group of self loving hypocritical right wing idiot's who the world would be better of without, so if a nuclear bomb hit's London other than the innocent victim's who is the aggressor really attacking?.
The extremists and hate preacher's claim it will be there city in a couple of decades and with there population growth they are probably right so why would anyone nuke the place other than the Brit's themselves?.
Not going to happen.

Where in that article does it mention the illuminati warning?
