I do not have too view the links to know that the bible does not tell you to kill me or anyone else in the nt.

I do know that any text can be twisted by some to mean something other than what it is saying.

That is not the case with the koran the calls for death are clear and do not require twisting or improper interputations.

You should make a thread about what you think you have found.

Oh the irony.
My book is untouchable but your book is open to interpretation.

"1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
1:31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. "

Romans 1

...and there are so many more, but no, let's not read that because lalalala I don't want to know.

not quite what i was getting at.

what i mean is that Jesus specifically told us to not kill. That part is not an interputation of any sort

the koran specifically tells to kill in many cases

much of the rest of both books are open to interputation and is done quite often but any interputations of the two that go against those two examples are false interputations.

Jesus condoned murder and killing, e.g. the story of Noah, the willful murder of people who didn't agree.
But I get it, it's a case of your zombie isn't as good as my zombie.

You really should check out that link. Go on, or isn't your 'faith' strong enough?

There can denounce the acts till they die but it does not change the factual message (not interputed message) that is found throughout the koran.

So why do Christians get to change the factual message than?

BTW there is some crazy stuff in Christianity, as well as other non Muslim based religions.
www.evilbible.com...

16 anyone who blasphemes the name of the Lord is to be put to death. The entire assembly must stone them. Whether foreigner or native-born, when they blaspheme the Name they are to be put to death.

i never said that they can change the facts. here they are

bible says not to kill
koran says to kill

of coarse that is a summation on both accounts but it is the root of our problem of people being murdered in the name of God

let me give you an example of interputation
the verse you quoted says the blasphemy must be put to death and the blasphmer must get stoned.

apart from what i just said both the books are very beautiful in many ways and both are very ugly in many ways but only one has a real chance at peace or a world without death.

...but, but but!

Isn't there a 'judgement' coming where many will be killed?

The 'happy book' ends on a pretty gruesome note: Believe in me or you will die.

Neither books have gods as role models for me.

I mean...it's not good for homosexuals in either religion.

If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. (NKJ, Leviticus 20:13)

But that is not true? Doesn't Exodus 21:15 clearly state to Kill

Death for Hitting Dad Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. (Exodus 21:15 NAB)

The problem is that some Christians today.. perhaps millions of them...think that the old testament is the law of God. Almost to the point of superseding anything Jesus said.

Not sure why the LOL ?

He made the following statement

There can denounce the acts till they die but it does not change the factual message (not interputed message) that is found throughout the koran.

The factual Message in the Bible states

Death for Hitting Dad Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. (Exodus 21:15 NAB)

So why do Christians get to change the factual message but Muslims don't . Or are you stating that above statement fits the crime in a Christian world?
