I'm getting engaged :)

I don't know if any of you scoundrels are interested, but I thought it would be nice to announce that I am getting engaged to my girlfriend on Christmas Day

I know I could do it right now, but I thought christmas day would be more special. We have already discussed marriage many many times, so I know she won't say no. In fact, she more or less pointed out the engagement ring she wanted. I bought it today and I will propose officialy on Christmas Morning. I can't wait.

So, all in all, I should have my best christmas ever this year. Woo hoo! Have a drink for me, someone :w::w:

I'll have a drink for ya, my hubby gave me a ring on new year's eve, I was bummed at first because I thought I wasn't going to get it, he led me on and on, and when I got bummed bummmed, the waitress brought it out in a wine glass filled with ice, ring on top... yeah I felt like an ass.. hint, don't lead her on, it may upset her!

Oh yes, and congratulations! If you keep her happy, she too will keep you happy... I hope she's like a best friend, friends first, lovers second...

Haha not quite because it was 6 am and we had only had about 3 hours sleep But it's been an extremely lovely day, and everyones been congratulating us all day. It's been surreal in a way, but I love it.........and snow to top it off, like a fairytale :0
