The French television show Le Petit Journal this week took on Fox & Friends after the show claimed that Paris was like Iraq and Afghanistan because Islamic radicals had taken over parts of the city.

There are lies, damn lies and Fox News.

Whatever fits their agenda will be broadcast regardless. I bet none of these commentators have ever left the Good ole USA.

That's hilarious! Not that we hear 100% truth on any channel, but Faux News takes the freakin' cake! LOL!

I have the desire to learn French now...

As an American who sees how the news blows things out of proporsion here in the States... I find this extremely hilarious!

It's not lies per se, it's just shoddy, poor and bad reporting and opinion. Fox is a tabloid news service, so you would expect nothing less.

But get ready to duck - you're challenging the very lifes blood of a segment of the population who are deeply entrenched in their ways - so much so that I saw one today saying that it was racist that he is not allowed to be a racist.

I saw here in France "le petit journal" yesterday and today and it was very funny. More to come tomorrow... I think that when the today and tomorrow show will be translated in english, you'll not be disappointed .

The problem is that Fox news is followed by around 2 millions people in USA, so how many of them will believe was Fox news said? That France is a very dangerous country similar to Irak or Afganistan?

The French guy obviously doesn't know what he is talking about. FOX tells it like it really is 100% of the time. I wonder how many days it took them to edit all the Muslims out of the video they made going to those places? Just look at how they waited until it was cold outside so they knew they wouldn't see people in their Osama Bin Laden t shirts those Socialist sure are crafty.

Well, you could be dammit, maybe we all could be. What about the/a, truthometer of TV news reports forum? that deals solely with mainstream television news, nothing about hearts and minds, just plain old TV fallacy and/or manipulation in the first instance. There are probably huge amounts of material on ATS right now, splattered all over different forums and threads showing false depictions on video from the mainstream, but in isolation.
The simple fact, Fox is but one, and about as subtle as a Bull in a China shop, that is the only difference.
