When I lived in Japan I got my Sake from Hiroshima. It was great stuff.
My favorite drinks in Japan were Sochu Sours .

I used to live in Itabashi-ku (Kita-Akabane) but the dreary industrial landscape got me down. We moved to Nerima a few years ago. Funny though. I now miss it. I was thinking about moving to Saitama...

I like where I'm at for now. Rent isn't too outrageous and it's close to the station. Makes commuting easy.

Heads-up for anyone thinking of getting sake (or any other food) tested for ionizing radiation: A geiger counter is not the way to go. Much more sophisticated testing is needed for accuracy of findings. Scintillation equipment is useful, for instance, but very pricey, and the equipment is complex. In the USA, each state approves a list of state-certified analytic laboratories. They will test your food items, and some will test liquids as well. Before you order the test, ask them if they can report back your results in Becquerels (Bq). Becquerels are a direct measurement, not just a calculation.
