Well if said members spout such nonsense as 'open door immigration policy'

But...that is exactly what the European immigration policy is..it is literally an open door policy in regards to the European Union member countries.

Anyone from any of the member nations can get on a coach, an aircraft or a boat and arrive here in the UK, demand housing and after a month or so, full social security benefits, access to our overstretched healthcare system, places for their children in our increasingly overcrowded classrooms, undercut or domestic trades people vying for the scarce jobs, and all of the rest of it.

Anyone from the EU can come here, without so much as a by your leave. How can this be construed as anything other than what it is...a wide, gaping chasm of an open door policy?

Or has there been an announcement i've missed?

go look on universal job match. All minimum wage stuff for low skills. Care assistants for instance. No rise in 15 years. That's because of the wide labour pool.

Let's face it, you aren't into sources, your happy in your particular prejudice and unable to escape it.

Well you need to come live where am at..People need to wake..

1, When a girl is crying on you're street and she is asking me to come over to her to help her out. I don't think I best keep out of this. When I seen this man wave his fingers at me to go away in the top window, and the girl is saying to me that # their is mine on the floor of the living room, DAM right I taken the door off. the guy got a beating along with his brother or mate.. we dont ring the police when THINGS LIKE THIS HAPPEN..

UKIP are an inch away from being a Nazi party......all their members are racists desperately attempting to not sound like racists while spouting faulty and misleading information gathered from other far right sources such as The Daily Fail.

UKIP and it's members are an embarrassment to the UK, making it look like a cesspool filled with ignorance and bigotry.

The woman in question is just the tip of the iceberg, you can be sure that behind closed doors her attitude is representative for all UKIP members.

Sure UKIP are a vile and offensive and bigoted party... and many of their members & candidates are too.
But not everyone who votes UKIP thinks the same as UKIP or even agrees with UKIP on many of their policies and ideals.
Some people have very real and legitimate concerns about immigration and the strain on the NHS and wages being driven down etc so you cannot tar everyone who votes UKIP with the same brush... many (I hope) are voting for them out of frustration and to send a message to the Westminster elite that they'd better change their ways etc.

Having said that, UKIP and what they represent are vile.. an odious party run by an even more odious man and populated with cronies and racist and sexists and homophobes and by the very nature of the party, attracting candidates from the far right and with very questionable views... people with outdated and offensive views about the the way the world should be and how England was once great and Little Englanders.

I would never, EVER vote UKIP, they are pure scum in my mind and personally I don't think there is a good reason to vote for them... but that's the beauty of a democracy, everyone thinks and votes differently and people are fed up with the current political climate and with the bland, centre ground hogging 3 main parties.
I think some people would get a very nasty surprise if their beloved UKIP got in, it wouldn't be quite as great as they think.

You need to separate the Party and its members and candidates from the ordinary public who are just venting their frustrations though, you cannot tar all with the same brush.

Well if said members spout such nonsense as 'open door immigration policy'.....

Please explain your statement.
Are you trying to say there hasn't been an 'open door immigration policy'?

Rather than just say something is 'nonsense' please explain exactly how and / or why it is nonsense.

All you seem to be doing is spouting empty political rhetoric and dogma with zero substance to support your claim that all UKIP supporters are 'racist' and that UKIP itself is 'an inch away from being a Nazi Party'.

Show exactly how UKIP compares to Nazi's.

......and denigrate membership in the EU as a matter of course,

Why?
Is the EU such a sacred entity that it is above criticism?
Why can't people express their dislike and distrust of the EU?

Whether you like it or not there is growing concern over the UK's continued membership of the EU and many, many people would like to see a full and open public debate on the merits and drawbacks of EU membership followed by a legally binding referendum on the subject.

What exactly is wrong with that?

..... then yeah I'm fairly comfortable with labeling them as such.

And that Sir says far more about you than it does anyone else.

It's more of a case of not indulging people in these kind of rhetoric as they only serve to give the ignorant and the hateful a platform to rant on.

What gives you or anyone else the right to set the political agenda?
Why is your opinion any more valuable or noteworthy than those who you arrogantly deem 'ignorant' and 'hateful'?

It seems to me that you are the one who seeks to impose your values on others and limit peoples right to free speech etc.

I put it to you that you are the one who is the very embodiment of the term 'BIGOT'.

bigot

/ˈbɪɡət/
noun
noun: bigot; plural noun: bigots
a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions.

Told you. Just a closed minded bigot aren't you?

Ask for a source outlining the problem, I give you one and suddenly it doesn't count. I could show you a thousand such sources and know that you'd dismiss each out of hand.

Your lack of empathy for others is why you fit so well in the liblabcon sphere.

BACK TO BAT CAVE FOR YOU

I hope NOBODY votes for UKIP, pretty sure I made that clear.
But the people that are voting for them, I hope many of those people are voting as a protest and not because they really are bigots, racists, homophobes and so on

Is that clear?

People probably write one-word sentences in the UKIP comments pages, I do apologise.

That's not open door though is it? open door gives the impression that literally anyone can enter the country from any other country from throughout the world. You say open door immigration policy and you attract the unsavory types.....

Besides, the UK has far more good old English salt of the earth types emigrating than we have foreign folk immigrating.

It's all smoke and mirrors designed to get these types wound up enough to vote UKIP/BNP w/e.

And it works all to easily.

Yes you told me.....what?

And those words don't mean what you think they mean...

Ask for a source outlining the problem, I give you one and suddenly it doesn't count. I could show you a thousand such sources and know that you'd dismiss each out of hand.

I asked for an official source for your claims:

It hasn't ruined mine, but it has depressed wages for hundreds of thousands of workers, drained our welfare system of funds, adversely impacted state schooling and the NHS. Blocked social housing and kept rents artificially high and many other things.

And you supply a single link to a webpage about people desperate enough to work for almost nothing in a single location.

See this is how the wool is pulled over your eyes by the tabloids. Give them a single story and suddenly the country is being ruined and good folk like yourself have had their lives ruined.

Your lack of empathy for others is why you fit so well in the liblabcon sphere.

LOL now there's a belly laugh holy crap
