Tho there is argument amongst Christians as to what happens too heathen children

The Catholics believe in original sin. But as David said in Psalms when his son died "I will go to him, he will not return to me." David knew his infant son was in paradise. And Jesus likewise said the Kingdom was for children. How can God condemn a mentally retarded person who has no capacity to understand sin or that he is acting against the laws of God? That's unjust, and God is just.

So he Jesus died for all the really bad sin (murder rape childmestation) to be forgiven, but if you never heard of Jesus or didn't by the biblical story then that's unforgiveable and you must be tortured for ever

Maybe the good are given a change to hear the gospel of grace right after they perish like the righteous dead were given the chance when Jesus decended into paradise during the 3 days he was in the tomb? I don't know the answer to that myself. But I know God is both good and just.
