Transsexuals, Transvestites "Unfit to Drive" Under New Law

…The government resolution, dated Dec. 29, lists numerous medical conditions that make someone ineligible for a driving license, including "mental and behavioral disorders" as defined by the World Health Organization.

The WHO classification includes "gender identity disorders" such as transsexualism and "disorders of sexual preference," including fetishism and voyeurism.

Human Rights First called it an "alarming violation of the rights of the transgender community"…

The new law does not say how transsexuals, transvestites and sexual fetishists could prove dangerous to other drivers on the road. The law does not describe how an individual’s sexual preference might impede their ability to drive safely. Human Rights organizations are calling the law an "alarming violation" of peoples' rights.

But - someone decided it's time for a "moral" crackdown. And determined this is a good place to start.

Hmmm. Seems studies show sexual ambivalence is associated with decision-making difficulties, and might affect driving because of that.
