Did your wife choose her career, job, the place she works, or did someone force her into that position?

I worked in the auto industry here in the Detroit area for many years, and saw females with little, or no experience get Plant managers positions because they were female, while their male counterparts that had years of experience got bypassed. The blade swings both ways these days.

I know plenty of women that own business and multi-millionares by their own doing, and they let no one stand in their way.

A corporate pie is divide up by those in charge, sometimes it's dominated by men, so of course women will get exploited.

My point here is people keep fighting an old system, instead of trying to start a new one.

If a person is strong enough they will not stand around and except crumbs, they will go out and find their own loaf of bread to eat, or a group of people that will share their equally.

I don't believe that, I believe it'll be more like Elysium and the rich get all the tech while another group in society will continue on in the old fashioned way. There'll be fields being worked by robots and there will be fields worked by humans, one farm will distribute to the rich and elite and the other will distribute to the masses. Segregation will return only not based on race/DNA but hightech or lowtech.

While you make an excellent, idealistic point, it also denies millenia of cultural and biological norms.

Anyways nature will always find new ways. There'll just be more feminin males and masculin females, it'll become socially accepted and they'll hook up and live happily ever after. It's just centuries old indoctrination about masculinity and femininity that needs a few generations to adapt and change, while in the middle of it this is difficult.

Good points and not arguing them. I'm just saying, that the very root of feminism is women fighting for equality. Maybe it's morphed into something different for some women and situations today. But fighting for equal pay for the same work when equally qualified is feminism. That's all I'm saying.

Look how far our society has come in the last 50 years, but it has come at a cost.

Everything in our materialist world and culture came from ideals, in fact, everything that exist in this material world is an idealistic foundation that came from somewhere.

I think what has happened is things have changed so quickly that most people don't know which way is up.

But who knows maybe because the world population has grown so large that intolerance, lack of empathy, and coldness are a side effect that we all have to endure, until things balance themselves out.

I think my main concerns are for the young ones that need nurturing, care and also look to their parents as role model to acquire the skills they will need to be successful.

This is just my perspective...

The problem is NOT the loss of femininity.

a lot of my female friends in high school had little patience with guys because the guys would break their hearts and use them, my good friend was beautiful, smart, had everything going for her, and dated a huge jerk, and she became jaded. but I know there are millions of women who are very attracted to a$$holes. anyway, it can be very liberating, empowering and very feminine for a woman to be a dominatrix, even though a dominatrix may be in charge, it can be a woman feel beautiful and great about herself.

I'm not making value judgments, or telling anybody how to be. Just observing the real world.

You want to attract feminine energy? Use masculine energy. It's about polarity.

You want to have sucky, dead relationship? Try to be neutral. Unless you want to be in the friend zone. Then go for it.

Sexual attraction is by definition about polarity. Generically it's about mating and passing down your DNA. It's an evolutionary advantage for females of every species to mate with the strongest males.

You sound younger and may lack some life experience, but that's ok, it will come in time.

Women may not want to admit it, but if everyone listens very closely like you suggested, then most men will know that many women today have lost that side of themselves.

Men can "Man up" all they want, but when you have two people in a household, or a relationship that are manning up one person either gives up, or gives in, and the relationship is doomed to fail.

I always thought I was very feminine and maternal, was a tomboy all my life went hunting and fishing with my boyfriends, loved all sports, wore levis and flannel shirts, biker boots, rode a harley, cussed like a sailor, still do.

No man ever kicked me out of bed, lol, will you still love me when I'm 64?

I would want to use the Force, however I would be at best, cheating (as in not real), according to the group I belong to in society which dictates I may not wield that until I have a number of achievements, which I haven't got yet. You are 100% right. A lot of women live in their masculine energy.

But women just don't "man down" because you tell them to or want them to.

If a woman is in her masculine energy it's because there is no male energy around her that makes her feel safe.

This isn't only about US you know. US is just way ahead of the game in corruption. It is the whole western life style of the planet. Women wanted to have jobs that men do. Now they got some. No longer do they act like proper women in the past. Some of them act like greedy business men now a days. A lot of rich ones are really spoiled. They are worst than Men when it comes to being spoiled. You no longer see the house wife doing any work for cleaning and growing food. They just hire other people to do it(Mostly Mexicans on US side).

Men should never really whine to women, unfortunately it's a sign of weakness and even though women may nurture that emotion for a time, they will eventually think of their male counterpart as spineless.

The delicate balance is something of an art-form these days and lie's between not being a over-powering douche-bag vs. a jellyfish with no spine, but yes making a women feel safe is very important.
