This is a BBC article on the search for Kony and the Lords Resistance Army. The article links to a video shot in November 2014 with special ops accompaning the DRC troops. The video reveals assets of Evergreen Aviation with partial tail numbers and mentions they are based in Dungu. It isn't exactly hard to find an airport in the jungle, and of course C130 scream US DoD.

Breaking News: the US has had special operations forces in Africa for over ten years now. Everybody from 75th Rangers to SFOD-D to DEVGRU to Force Recon to Special Forces. Every single US Tier-1 asset has put time in over there.

Though I will point out that pictures of one of the most popular models of helo in the world, and one of the most widespread cargo planes (in terms of usage) and a picture of a chubby white dude don't really amount to much.
