Are alien abductions still happening?

Whitley Strieber's first ET book with the picture of the huge eyed alien on the cover had a profound impact on me. In the years after reading that book, I read numerous other stories of alien abductions that were similar to Strieber's. Though I have never been abducted by greys, at least according to my conscious mind, I gradually began to accept that this phenomenon was real. Mind blowing stuff, indeed!

I understand that some of you either completely disbelieve the alien abduction idea, or you are at least skeptical, but I look at this phenomenon as a person that believes that many of the accounts from various anonymous individuals, people clearly not motivated by money, are reporting something real.

I seem to recall that Whitley made an effort to see his abductions as difficult, but still something that enhanced his spiritual growth, But I eventually decided that he was wrong, and that the alien abduction program by the greys was exploitive in nature, with the hybrid program being the main goal. The big question for me is what event, slow or gradual, would be setting the stage for we humans being replaced to some degree by the hybrids?

I understand that it is difficult to look at this question in a serious way while our 3D reality holds steady, but maybe one day it will not be so strange a question.

To close, may I ask this question? Are you still being abducted by the greys? Have you heard about recent abductions? Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the phenomenon has quieted down somewhat. Could it be because the hybrid program has completed its mission? I really don't know the answer.

Judging by the claims of our own abductees here...id say its an ongoing program....but maybe the novelty news factor has worn off....like a good joke gone stale, or how people are not talking about ebola anymore either.....

I have notice that the sampling has gone away. It was a lot hotter in the 90's.
Maybe they realized this planet was no good for their goals.
The humans were more trouble than they are worth.

Or the program was not about replacing us.....but replenishing another race..... or planet even....who can say?

Perhaps they are doing longitudinal studies over time, and at certain times there may be an uptick in abductions as they come back around to sample their subjects? Maybe every 10, 20, 40 years ect?

Before you ask if it's still happening, don't you first have to ask if it ever happened? All this time has passed and there's not an iota of testable evidence proving that aliens have ever visited earth let alone abducted anyone.

Except the testimonies. Deny them if you please.

Well, I just want to know how many anal probes it takes to change a light globe.

You would think that after x number of said anal probes they would have their research completed and just go home. I can't see why they need to continue this for ever in a day.

Let's face it, according to valuable resources (Ancient Aliens
) they have been here for thousands of years, just how many anal probes do they need.

I have noticed upticks seem to coincide with Hollywood alien movie releases. A conspiracy within a conspiracy hmmm.

People don't want to admit it is happening. I understand why. It is a very scary idea.

Wow. It sounds like you have really let the "big drama" of the abduction pheonomenon become the truth in your mind, haven't you?

Before you settle on one and only one truth, shouldnt you first acknowledge the possibility of all other truths?

Maybe they don't have to use actual implants any more...and come back by to check up on the implants...?

Honestly I don't see why they would even need to land on earth to gather information. Couldn't they hack a satellite then woosh they got Google.

I understand why people want to deny the reports from the abductees. It's too freaking scary.

You aren't getting the truth. They are here, the greys. They have been here for as long as as we have. They are in control. They have an agenda.

I'm not denying abductions or the reports, but I do draw the line at hybridization being the primary motivation as it makes little sense.

Why does it make little little sense?

Because a species that advanced would have advanced computers capable of extrapolating the necessary genetic code for any number of projects from a very small group of specimens. This is of course assuming they would have any need of our biological data, which I tend to doubt. Furthermore what evidence to we have that humans would make good slaves when most of history and human nature proves that wrong.

No, if anything they are hunting for pearls. Rare specimens amongst the flock prove the most profitable.

I don't know if I would be scared or curious if I thought it was real.

If I ever see a UFO that I was sure to be of ET origin I would probably find out.

they went away because it's not trendy anymore.
the collective fears sport of evolve with the times.
If you watch horror movies and put them into the context of the time they were released, you see that all they do is put on film the tensions of a nation, that's nothing new really, and these "alternative" news stories are the same.
ufo abductions have lost relevance in favor of other generalized fears.
