I am in no way affiliated with this Website, I just thought it would be perfect for the types on ATS. The site is called Off The Grid Living, and it can be found here for anyone who's interested:

www.offgridworld.com...

It has links and resources for all of a person's needs for when they have to live off grid during the end times; stuffed full of how-to guides, self defense tutorials, farming lessons, and more. This is THE site for all of you Doom-Porn lovers out there.

Check it out, ATS.

Some of the stories are a little out there but some are good. I guess that's okay and it does give you ideas. I'm in the process of making a huge greenhouse. I was lucky because the land I bought had these industrial carport poles that can be put together and used for it. It's heavy duty and not the typical cheap stuff. There's enough here for two huge greenhouses. I'm always looking for sites that inspire or sprout ideas.

I'm putting in multiple fish ponds to maximize the aquaponics setup (more types of fish). I have a lot of projects in the works and some are already done. It's all a work in progress and truly never ends. I'm going to rent a backhoe for the ponds and get liners (probably in early march). The greenhouse will be a great addition. I'm growing in plastic beds now but with the greenhouse, I can setup a PVC system.

Anyone can make an aquaponics system. It can be small that doesn't take a lot of room right in your backyard. You can do bigger projects if you have the land for it. That site you posted even has a few aquaponics setups. I'll be checking out some of the other people's setups and maybe incorporate them in mine. I already have a working knowledge and know what i want to do but you can always learn something that may save you time and money. Always good to have an open mind.

it's not really about doom but more about getting away from the machine in general. I refuse to build a bunker but I've dug a few foxholes in my day. Damn, I broke another entrenching tool!

Thanks for the link.
