"Oppressed people of color with weapons" ?

What color? I have a color.
What about colorless people?
And the oppressed people without weapons ?

No, could you point it out, please? Because, all I can see is what could be a very surface misconstruing on your part, but since you came out so strongly against "the stupid", I must be missing something.

I guess to them, black is the only color?

Could be wrong but I think there are a few more colors.....maybe they should change their chant to Color Power...but that just doesn't sound as cool and militant I guess....

Either way, back to the OP and the story....speaks volumes to me that they couldn't even get people in the neighborhood to get off their butts and walk with them and that they were just sitting there drinking out of brown paper bags in the yard as they walked by.

Story goes on to say they more than doubled their membership....appears top be 11 of them in the pictures from my count...most with very old, quite possibly useless guns. If these guys ever did try to stand up to anything they would be sorely outmatched by even 2 officers with full gear.

If you are going to make yourself a target, it would be a bit better of an idea to make yourself a worthy opponent first.

Yes many, a lot, most, vasts, a majority, of "unarmed" deaths are due to people ingesting hard drugs like PCP, Crack, Cocaine, Synthetic drugs etc. then violently attacking people. The police are called and they fight the police. The police taser them and they unfortunately die due to excited delirium.

If they didn't choose to ingest hard drugs, and violently attack people they wouldn't of died.

Yeah....the stupid on ATS kills me sometimes. Some read news articles and regurgitate them as fact without checking numbers or using critical thinking to understand that while these may be the overall numbers, the circumstance is what needs to be known in order to draw a conclusion.

Are you even reading what you type?

You are complaining that someone reads a news article providing context for the numbers provided, when you yourself are calling for FBI statistics with no context whatsoever?

Cognitive Dissonance.

If you are going to come at me with what you call a fact on a number, then EVERY ONE of those facts better be correct or else it negates everything else you said in my opinion.

That's illogical. One person gets one aspect of one story wrong, and it makes everything else wrong? I don't even know how to respond to that.

Seven is "lots" now.

Thanks for the cherry picking, but don't do it on my account.

Also, excited delirium isn't real.

Well, from your statement of Utah police killing more than gangs, it equates to roughly 9 a year, that is 2 more than 7, so anything over 7 is viable to use I guess, and considered "lots" in this instance?

Except excited delirium isn't real.

AMA doesn't recognize it.
It isn't in the DSM.

It's not real.

I have cited FBI stats with links to them from FBI pages.

You still have yet to cite anything to back up anything.

And no, it is not illogical to deduce that if someone is incorrect about one or more figures presented as fact, that they are incorrect on many more if not all.

Apparently you are just copy pasting what you type from articles and figures that fit your agenda with not critical thought as to how those figure were determined or what circumstances are behind them.

Neither is God...what's your point?

You stated Utah killed more and then stated 7 is a small number to reference....your figure references 45 people over 5 years with no circumstances to allow a conclusion to discussion to occur...that is 9 per year...is that considered "lots" in your opinion?

fighting supposed divisiveness with more divisiveness.....

If they want to fix things, then come together with all races.....

so yes the stupid it hurts..........

Do you have any factual links to support your statistics or agenda? Ive seen you throw out ample numbers and percentages here with nothing to back them up.

Neither can be used as justification for killing citizens.
