BREAKING: Two More NYPD Officers Shot in the Bronx!

This is just starting to come over Twitter right now. Two more NYPD officers shot. Recent Vine video from the scene...

Manhunt is underway for two reported male HIspanics in their twenties. Witnesses initially reported the shooters were wearing ski masks over their faces, indicating a potential planned assassination.

Details remain limited right now. WNBC reported one officer, wearing a bullet-proof vest, was shot in the back and the other experienced a "graze" would to his elbow.

The NY Daily News is now reporting the officers were shot during a robbery attempt, and a revolver was discovered at the scene.

The NYPD told the Associated Press that the officer's injuries were not life threatening.

Two officers ordered a vehicle to pull over on East 184th St at 10.30pm
The suspects tried to speed off, crashed, emerged shooting
One officer shot in arm, another shot in back, both in stable condition
Two Hispanic men in their 20s with hats over their faces are at large

I get the feeling this is going to get much worse before it gets better. Crazy inspires more crazy and if these guys get away, it'll just encourage more attacks.

So they did survive, cool. Hopefully this doesn't turn out to be a planned assassination like the last ones. That's the last thing we need.

It doesn't sound like they were trying to run into cops. It sounds like they already knew they were not planning on going to jail if they did have a run in.

Hoping the officers heal quickly, shaking my head on Hispanics in ski masks deal though...

Such is the frenzy of breaking news, I am sure that it will be hashed out once the dust has settled...

I'm wondering about the hispanic thing myself

I hope they pull through. This country is getting crazier and crazier. I swear, it's becoming a war zone. Come to think of it, the whole world is. What are future generations going to have if this keeps up?

Many knew the last 2 were only the beginning and I don't think these 2 are the last.

Not going to be confined to NY either.

If it's intentional. If not it's one hell of a coincidence.

They were speeding off to get away from the police...




This sounds more like preventative self-defence from a perceived threat of NYPD declaring War!!!

It's perfectly fine for police to shoot if they feel it's a dangerous situation...

I already mentioned an issue I had with the initial suspect description, but to leap to the level you have seems to have more of an agenda against the boys in blue?
