Indeed, Early Punk was so raw and to the point! still some great stuff around today despite cries of 'punk is dead' ...

Dead Kennedys were so good, talk about raw and to the point in some of their songs!

Had this on my playlist just now ...

I listen to a lot of stuff posted here, my favourite genres are Punk, metal, electronic and edm, industrial, hardcore/gabba, crossbreed, and 50s music, but honestly I'll give anything a go, I just love music!

I'm totally with you, I love this thread and it's diversity!

Hahah, that tune's awesome, love the actual band work with the instruments as well, really talented.

And yeah, agreed. Punk is definitely not dead!

Posted this months back, reposting as it's probably one of my favourite ever tunes.

Sounds oldskool but with modern production, good tune!

Used to love this ...

Yeah what you described is the exact type that I like. Love it, as I do that tune you linked too. Another of their old ones that I've liked a lot recently, sounds decades ahead of its time :

I think Kasparov will probably be too heavy on the beats for me, but it brings back memories! Used to listen to some of the most insane hardcore rave. If you like that I guess you'll like Atari Teenage Riot too, which is about as heavy as I can go electronically nowadays.

Atari Teenage Riot - Speed (High Quality, HQ)

Oh kasparov is on the light side of some of the stuff I like, I love to assault my ears, there is nothing in this world like a distorted 909 kickdrum
I was gonna say check out Ophidian, my favourite artist, but his stuff is very hard!

That band is great, really like that track! and bad brains lol been a long time since I heard that!
