"Remind Me" by ROYKSOPP

It's only been a week
The rush of being home in rapid fading
The failing to recall
What I was missing all that time in England

Has sent me aimlessly
On foot or by the help of transportation
To knock on windows where
My friend no longer live, I had forgotten

And everywhere I go
There's always something to remind me
Of another place in time
Where love that travelled far had found me

We stayed outside till two
Waiting for the light to come back
We didn't talk I knew
Until you asked what I was thinking
Until you asked what I was thinking

Brave men tell the truth
A wise man's tools are analogies and puzzles
A woman holds her tongue
Knowing silence will speak for her

Brave men tell the truth
A wise man's tools are analogies and puzzles
A woman holds her tongue
Knowing silence will speak for her

Will speak for her

And everywhere I go
There's always something to remind me
Of another place in time
Where love that travelled far had found me

Peter Heppner - Das Geht Vorbei...[ That will pass ]

That will pass
The wounds will be healed by time
Despite violated vanity
And even if a scar remains
That will pass

That will pass
Just take a little time
Even if the pain seems endless
You can bear much more than you think
That will pass

That will pass
There's a time for everything
No matter if it's big or small
That's the way it seems to be in this world
That will pass

That will pass
Nothing is forever
What looks right and perfect today
Could simply be gone by tomorrow
That will pass

And however hard a man tries to change himself, whatever he thinks
How much he tries to control his life and to whom he gives his life
He does a lot, fearing to be forgotten
Just to feel a little bit of immortality

Believe it or not, Nirvana played Glasgow (the QMU) shortly after they released Bleach. I must have been about 16, but I went to see them and they were amazing! Only chance I got though, but I'm glad I took it. The Pixies headlined T in the Park a couple of times, they're great live.
Brian Molko's (Placebo) from Dundee in Scotland, I think? Maybe I just made that up! I still love them either way!

Actually, just looking at him there, he's got er, 'celtic' teeth, so he must be Scottish!

Brian Molko is a european guy at large I guess ...
Born in Brussels ... grown in Dundee ... attended school in Luxemburg.

I remember my only stay in Scotland so far : in 1998, I remember I watched the world cup final in a Pub in small place called Aboyne.

These guys are Scots that's sure ... or Brits ... or European ... or Celts ... :
