Yah He's a cutie all right! Quick story on Him. He was one of two newborns. The Humans involved were divorcing and the Guy killed the mother of the pups to let them just die. The Woman brought them to ME and asked if I could raise one. I said Hell Yes!! I wanted both but she said she was taking one to someone else. The little pup fit in my palm eyes barely open. We bottle fed Him, then as He grew and started to walk, he always went backwards! He scooted around that way for a few days or so before going forwards.

We named Him Skooter!

Oh and I also Love those Wolf images!!!! Awesome, eh?

My friend had half Wolves/Huskies... They were ok, but they were way too rough, and pretty wild.. I didn't get the sense they were trying to hurt me (they did), but if they got the sense that that was ok, I would have gone to the hospital. They had stronger jaws and arms than I've been used to with collies or German shepherds, or golden retrievers.

I don't know if it's worse with mixes, than with just wolves, or how these dogs grew up either.

What a good ending to the story though.

Sounds like you named him perfectly. I recently saw a you tube video of a dog that would only walk through a doorway backwards. It reminded me of your story.

My friend was Russian..

My wolves used to chase trains.

They could hear one coming long before we could and crouched in the brush waiting for it. The conductors got to know them and would often throw treats from the engine for them as they passed.

I always wondered what they would do if they actually caught a train...

No worries at all. Only reason I started this was because it seemed so ridiculous how spoiled my dogs have become.

I've watched them climb upon a mountain of pillows while still being on a cozy couch. Just seemed like a bit much since I remember having to sleep on floors during rough patches. No couches for me.

I'm not even sure how to equate this scenario into human terms. I guess it would be like having 5 bed mattresses instead of one.

Carry on my friend. I'll help you anyway I can to get a pet/animal forum.

Sometimes I wish I liked cats. They are cute for sure but, I just cant get into the whole cat thing.
