Take things a step at a time .. education is important finish uni .. learning is lifelong it never stops .. still learning new things at 71 .. dont rush on finding a soulmate .. when the time is right you will meet them .. its getting harder to find places untouched by western "civilization" in todays world as its influence is reaching nearly everywhere .. its possible to live free but it takes knowledge .. skill .. and bit of dumb luck at times .. after uni theres always options to follow spiritual path many buddhist temples in asia take students one of the best is in taiwan .. its possible to have a good life without falling into the trap thats "civilization" .. spend most the year out in the borderlands of vietnam .. laos and cambodia trade with the locals .. sometimes treat patients - mostly victims of 40+ year old unexploded ordinance laying around .. or delivering babies otherwise the local villagers are a fairly healthy lot ..
Youre young yet and have time to plan and learn .. never give up you can accomplish anything you want to .. its not an easy path.. but it is a rewarding one .. have patience things will become clear to you .. spend time in meditation it helps ..

Haha, now I smiled as I crossed the word "Taiwan".
I met a beautiful Taiwanese girl at Leicester Square in London once. She was an artist, a painter... spent days, even weeks in galleries just staring at the paintings. She was just different to the most of our european/american girls these days.
Then we went to a "boat party" together and had a great time.
((It's called a "boat party", but it's just a club built into the anchored HMS President
)) She ended up sleeping at my place, though she had to leave the next morning. Haven't seen her ever since.
But I promised her that I would see her again one day.
Maybe, she is the one. Who knows

You know, I am not that old if you look at my age, that's true... but I feel very old on the inside. Don't know why...

I've been to China, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Thailand ... well, I've seen pretty nasty places in Cambodia as well and I don't know if that is exactly what I am looking for. (even though the people there are friendly)
Haha! You've succeeded in making an inception! ... you've planted an idea to my head.
There is much more thinking to be done though.
Taiwan it is

F^%$ Society....

Simple as that.

Done the 'good guy' thing and it gets me nowhere, this year I will be a douche and look after number 1.

Sad but there it is.

My New Year's Resolution is...

no more brown shoes
be more imaginative
grow more hair
contact my attorney about that "problem"
Eat more candy and lay off the junk food like carrots
find out what "resolution" means

Well, now that my youngest is in 1st grade, it's time for mommy to go back to work. So, I guess I will be dusting off the resume. Not so much a resolution as it is a goal.

I'm also going to try and stop cussing so damn much.

Cut back on the Pinot Grigio a bit. ( maybe?? I just love a glass a wine while cooking dinner so damn much)

I really need to work on the cussing. It's just not very lady like.

My girlfriend is making me take one more resolution.

No more showering with the dog..

I don't see anything wrong with it but she has a problem with it. So what if my dog smells like Herbal Essences

I don't make resolutions anymore.
In the past I've tried resolutions a few times.
It's been very bad luck for me.
Something really bad happens to make the resolution fail.
It's like a freaky curse or something.
So no resolutions for me. Nope. It's tempting fate.

You shower with your dog?!!! That is hilarious!

Hey, at least you don't feed your dog with a fork like my mother-in-law.

I'm one of those weirdo's who actually keep to my resolutions.

Last year I quit smoking, smoking the special blend, and drinking.

1 year sober tomorrow morning

This year I have 3 goals:

Finish schooling and get my certifications (CCNA + VCP5)

Start a career in IT

Get a decent woman

The first will happen by the end of May. The second by the end of June. The third will come sometime after that, likely, but I don't feel comfy trying to get one before the career is had.

Cheers to 2015!

Well....Nary a change here! However, this year HAS to be better than 2014. I am going to try to get a better attitude toward life and people though. My experiences have put a serious set of Jaded Glasses on my eyes.

Happy New Year to all you guys here! You are the best community ever!
