Thousands rally near Red Square in one of the boldest protests in years Russia’s seen in years

MOSCOW — Several thousand people rallied near Red Square on Tuesday to protest the conviction of the top Kremlin critic and his brother, in one of the boldest opposition demonstrations in Russia in years.

The unsanctioned protest came hours after Alexei Navalny, the anti-corruption campaigner and chief foe of President Vladimir Putin, was found guilty of fraud and given a suspended sentence of 3 1/2 years. His brother was sent to prison.

This is breaking right now. Unprecedented protests in the heart of Moscow. Lots of riot police lining up.

US ordered the troops to try again after the failed attempts a few years ago.

First Obama says flat out it`s attacking Russia economically and now trying for another colour revolution.

Time to make some popcorn.

Wow blaming America?

Really people?

Colour Revolution?

It's Protests over a decision to press charges against Activists.

The America-Blame is tiring.

No its not caused by America.

But Id bet a £2000 donation to ATS CIA and MI6 agents are going to be in that crowd to incite it further and inflame things.

I hear the price of Vodka was increasing in Russia, even Putin was trying to keep the price down. I guess he failed.

It's amazing...

When there are riots in Russia, America cheers.

When there are riots in the US, America cheers.

People love to watch a good riot I suppose. Better than cable.

Peace
