Every time I think about replying to one of your posts I come to realize that you've offered such an array of positions and arguments that it would be a fruitless effort as you've become so entrenched in your thought and belief.

Can you live comfortably in a nation where there are people that disagree with you? A nation where people fundamentally disagree with your worldview?

I ask, only because you seem to have lost any meaningful attempt at debate and discussion. It seems that, to you, the other side is wrong and you're justified in your opposition by any means necessary.

Like the current potus whose gonna veto anything the right does ?

Like how the Democrats blocked everything the House tried to do since 2010?

'nothing' is going to change their minds.

So you're saying you are just like Obama?

Ok, I can agree with that.

Nope I wasn't elected as a 'representative' of this ENTIRE country.

You just said "Like the current potus", making the comparison. I was just agreeing with you.

As for the OP, was something else expected?

Do you mean that "checks and balances" only work if it's for your party?

I agree with that. Obama is not about checks and balances though.

A majority of people didn't vote. Something like 70% of the voting age population didn't bother participating in the last election. I don't think it's fair to call what happened what the 'majority' wanted. If anything, the majority didn't want either side to win.

But of the people who DID vote the majority of them still voted against the Democrats. That's all that matters to me. The election still happens for a reason and people still vote against politicians like Obama for a reason.
