Great for abstract stuff

I'm still getting head around these at the moment, I finished at work today . Now I have a long weekend to play, I only have to go to work tomorrow to collect my tools, and a fresh start on Tuesday.

I'm all excited and a bit nervous as well, and that bloody clown didn't help LOL

actually they do look real - because essentially that is what they are, real pictures made into a stamp-able thing that you just have to add color to - and occasionally texture.. As I said, if you don't have things like fire texture and patterns I can give you some..

and if you want I can make a picture to show you their potential for you.. its a matter of learning I guess how to use both pattern, color, and texture to your piece - although here on avatars that is something we already do.. you just don't think about it so much..

okay. here are four of the brushes I gave you, two clouds, one moon, and one fire.. (I am not great with fire yet.. everyone else makes these perfect, so they do take a bit of practice and I haven't had enough yet.. but here is this to show you their potential:

I made it big so you can see them well.. but in most pictures they wont be this big (and often not this bright) unless you are doing printable pictures for sale and such..

I made the clouds carry that nighttime tint to them in this one, since I did it on black so you could see them well.. but they do look good, in the end..

and if you take the time with the colors, they do the wallpapers like this:



The moon in this, is the same moon I gave you.. (and i can give you these mountains as well)

The trick i use for fire: i find an image i like that has flames on a black background. Paste it as a new layer into the image, then double click to get into the blending options. Set the layer to "screen" and the black background disappears, leaving only the flames.

You can copy out little bits and pieces of flame, use warp/etc to get it contoured properly,, etc.

I have some flame brushes, but getting the hue and colors to blend properly is nearly impossible for me. So i just use a layer blending to cheat.

I have downloaded fire patterns and fire textures to make it work.. although I am not sure I like the textures... I may try a masking layer instead though - good advice!

I gave a bunch of brushes to Cody.. but if anyone else wants some, I have a whole ton of them! I have everything from moons (in all phases) to stars to clouds to smoke to fire to barbed wire (couldn't resist) to hair brushes and eye lash brushes and keys and stairs and mountains ... lol..

I don't think there is much I don't have! I even have a bunch of tattoo's! I have celtic knots and and and and.. probably have about 3 hundred or more total, so if anyone wants any specific ones just message me your email..

I'm trying at current moment to make a tumbleweed brush, but having a difficult time of it.. and I am really wanting to do a desert scene.. but I may not be able to make a tumbleweed brush.. may just have to borrow a tumbleweed!
