Here's one I've been messing with...
I found the pictures but had to save it in paint
& then open in PS....

I tried the Cody method with the opacity
~90%...I couldn't get it to work so this is just
filters....

Cheers
Ektar

Here you go mate, this is before adding the orignal

With the original overlaid

With the opacity reduced on the original image to about 57 %

With the opacity set at 45 %

what you can do with it is blend images together easier. its like a shortcut to getting the lighting right.

Those are great guys here's another one from earlier...
It's been a while...I will try some more extensive things
now that I'm getting into it...there are many tools & things I still
don't know how to use so I need to mess around...maybe more
tutorials. I haven't done those since, I can't even remember.
I will try Cody method again....

I think it might be cool to have that effect only on the dog
& not the grass. It's a filter so if I wanted to apply this to something
else can I erase that part of the filter w/o losing the BG? Thanks.

Cheers

Nice ones

Specially when using small images.. its always better to use large images then you have more control in removing artifacts.
Been lazy today.. i wonder if Ektar finds a bigger one for us to work on

Thanks everyone...I don't have any larger ones ATM, but
some time tomorrow late afternoon I will try to figure out
how to get the blue tooth from phone to computer...then I will
have one or 2 more. I do have some awesome ones in storage
I need to scan in...they are 8x10...those will have to wait until June.

That's different...I did a sketch one but it wasn't good looking
so I didn't save it...this one is much better. I won't be able to work
on anything until late afternoon...early evening.
Thanks...these are all fun.

learn to use the pen tool and you can make smooth curves.

i have been practicing with it, as it is definitely a skill that you have to learn.

I can't manage the pen tool either... I have seen peoples perfect curves who can use that tool, but I can never get that stupid thing to do what I want!

Before actually starting to make path with pen tool.. this is how i do my start

After reducing noise duplicate layer twice.
create a hue saturation adjustment layer .. turn saturation off
Under adjustment layer ( pic layer ) invert layer and turn its mode to color dodge ( now you see only white ).. don´t panic .. use gaussian blur to get picture outlines
above adjustment layer create a new levels adjustment layer to make outlines even darker or lighter what ever you choose. now you have a nice guide to make your paths. Or use it as it is

less guessing
