Dear Avatar Creators...

You have a special place in my heart. Wishing you all a joyful time of renewal, and if you Celebrate Easter, then a very Happy Easter to you, as well!

Here is a poem I wrote for the season, should you be inclined to read it...(It's not religious so much as a metaphor...)

On Resurrection

peace,
AB

BFFT 7th Son of a 7th son tour was my first ever real live gig, I was blown away and have been hooked on live music ever since bro

My first was Somewhere in Time. Iron maiden was a phenomenal band. The most under rated guitarist ever

I was in 6th grade, living in El Paso when they came through.

A few months later i got to see Metallica on their Master of Puppets tour. First of 4 times I have seen Metallica. I think Celtic Frost opened for them. I can't recall the opening act at Iron Maiden. I want to say it was Cinderella....but lots of things blur together in those early years.

You're younger than me then

I was 21 at the time, I'm just thinking which was the best live act I've seen, but I can't, I've been lucky enough to see so many great bands live.

I was even lucky enough to catch Amy Winehouse, Paulo Nutini and the Rolling Stones at the same festival in 2007 along with some other great bands as well

Isle of Wight 2007 Line up

That was Mrs C's first festival, she's hooked now, I saw Pink Floyd and The Who before we got back together, she'd have loved them, Aerosmith was a bit of a let down strangely, but the Boss rocked through the night and even paid the fine for running over. But Mrs C's all time fav was Bon Jovi, they put on one hell of a show, but I prefer my rock a little heavier.

I still haven't seen the Manic street preachers yet .......................... just a matter of time I hope

Yeah, im 43. I've not seen a lot of the greats. But did see a lot of forgettable bands over the years.

The best show i've seen was Metallica's Damaged Justice set. My dream: to get to see Maynard perform in any incarnation, but preferably once Tool releases their long delayed next album.
