In our news today, they had found this beautiful baby mallard which has flavistic color mutation. Isn´t that ubercute ?
I hope this baby will not become a prey of other animals because of it´s stunning color and can grow to adulthood.

Just wanted to share

Too cute! Thanks for sharing. It looks like those
Easter ducks. If a true Mallard then yeah you would
have expected to see at least some color change starting to
happen by now if it's the same as the ones it's swimming with.

I too hope it is not a predator target. Well now that I took
another look you can see some color change under its eye
& above the bill. Maybe some spots barely coming through.

Great photo...

Cheers

Thanks for showing me how to do that. I admire your effort in post presentation. I uploaded all three images to maybe pass on.

I don't know what she said, but that lady is of ill-intent something serious.

Beautiful music. Thank you for sharing that.

Meh, don't worry. If you just threw up a collage of album covers, that's cheesy and what I'm envisioning is a huge pain in the rear. Pulling the images off the covers and putting them over some cool image(whatever that may be). I'm thinking that is mighty difficult and time consuming so that's off the table.

I'll see if I can get a good screenshot of the girls "moving pitchers" from the Time Machine video. That might work as I am unable to think of any other images ..... wait, how about Al as Ray Daniels eating schnitzengruben?

I don't even know what I want so it's a bit hard for anyone to help me. Maybe I can come up with a cool shot of something and you guys can maybe put a logo on it or some crap. I'll take a gander and see what I can come up with.

if you like music as the theme, give a list of bands you like and would be interested in seeing some art inspired from.

Then just let folks pump out what their inspiration produces. You might get something you like, and everyone else gets a chance to have a play.

while i love Neil Peart, im just not a Rush fan and couldn't feel it. But if you wanted something like, say, a Zack Wylde type image with tons of implied motion, maybe a Spanish Archer rock logo....thats something I could get to feeling. I know there are some classic rock and 70's/80's metal/rock fans around here that might have something in their pocket for you.
And its a fun genre to work in....everyone loves music, and its guaranteed that we all share various parts of that in common.

First I've heard of them

Slick website, I tend to judge a rock group by the ballad, if you can touch my soul, make the hairs on my neck stand up, and I look for the music, I like it.

I've got a head full of drawings

Man I'm loving this

WHAT?!?!?!

Maynard Keenan is in 3 bands: Tool, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle. All 3 are fantastic.

If you enjoy the esoteric, you might enjoy Tool. He tackles very gritty subject matter, but executes it in some very intriguing ways. Lateralus, I believe, was written using Fibonacci as a guide. Faaip de Oad is pretty interesting for the CTer.

If you want a great "ballad" type song...itll be hard. He has that "simmering rage" vibe. But "Right In Two" has an outstanding video that some fan put together for them. "Sober" is probably their greatest in the "slow" type category. "46 & 2" and "Aenima" are right up the subject matter of ATS. Eulogy is a good slow song. 3 Libras, too.

And with Puscifer he has Horizons and The Green Valley that are pretty good (along with Conditions of my parole, which isn't slow at all)

90% of the music I listen to is one of Maynards bands.

Parabola was the greatest hit for me.

We barely remember who or what came before
This precious moment in choosing
To be here, right now, hold on, stay inside

This holy reality
In this holy experience
In choosing to be here in

This body, this body holding me
Serves as a reminder that I am not alone
This body, this body holding me
We are eternal, all this pain is an illusion

Twirling 'round with this familiar parable
Spinning, weaving 'round each new experience
Recognise this as a holy gift and
Celebrate this chance to
Be
Alive and breathing

Very much inspired by the Himalayan mythologies in the psychedelic mode.

You understand where i am coming from.

Something in the music gives me a clarity of thought. Increased focus.

There is a deep genius within what those folks do together. While I love music like Led Zepplin, SRV, etc....they are still just musicians. Tool/Perfect Circle/Puscifer....they are often something more that just music. Although SRV has achieved that a few times, too (like with Little Wing, or Lenny)

LOVE LOVE Tool! & am also a fan of Perfect Circle!

I could I not love Tool being a retired Pro Drummer & their
drummer & I both endorse Paiste Cymbals. Bloody Hell the
dude had a drum kit made from all hand hammered cymbals.
Way too heavy to tote around.

They are all phenomenal players! The kind of music I love to
listen to & play.

Cheers

maybe a Spanish Archer rock logo....

LOL. Funny you would say that as it is from a song. A pretty good one considering the time it was made and killer guitar from Ritchie.

Anyway, it has to be Rush as they are bidding us adieu. Tomorrow is taken (free concert downtown with The Motels, The Tubes and The Smithereens) and I don't see me getting to this before that. I'll see what images I can come up with and something workable comes up.

I hope you enjoy your show.

I don't do the smartphone thing so I'll see if they let me in with a camera. Heck, since everyone already is carrying a camera I don't see that as being a problem but who knows. I doubt they will be terribly exciting(it's not the Tubes circa 1974 or so when they were all artsy fartsy). I left it in the car last year when Deep Purple played and people were there filming it with selfie sticks so if I do have a problem, I'm sure it's just me and my bad karma.
