So I got my last two paychecks for this month, but on neither federal taxes were taken out. Should I mention this to payroll or should I just cash the checks and enjoy a bit of a bonus? Or would doing that cause the IRS to come after me?

If you owe it, they will eventually want it. It may take years for them to get around to asking you for it, but they will.

So speaks the Voice of Experience. Disregard this warning at your financial peril. The IRS charges interest.

One of my 11 uncles didnt pay taxes for 2 years and ended up having to pay about $35,000 after fines, intrest and amount owed was collected. Dont medd with the IRS, they dont play well, and tend to bully those on the playground.

Thanks folks, I appreciate the help. I guess I was right in thinking I'd eventually get screwed.
