possible we have seen worse....the water tower in the background just above the backpack during the step-off A-12...seen on TV all the time for just two and a half seconds..estimated to be four miles distant...

Yet you open your post with a statement, "There is a building present in the top left corner of this photo from NASA" and again 3 other times refer to it as a building .

I know there are theorys regarding a secret space programe and also of there being alien bases on the terrestial planets of the solar system ... Though I have never seen anything that has convinced me of there existence some photos have led me remain open minded ...

If there were buildings ... say on the Moon ... I have another suggestion ...
There was an ancient highly advanced (technologically) Earth civilisation that not only visited these planets but also built there ... and if there was hard proof of buldings say on the Moon and Mars ... this would not surprise me ...

However mine is mere speculation based on personal beiliefs

You guys are right, it looks more like a castle than a house. Who would build a house that big on the moon anyways, it is much more likely that it is a castle perhaps? There is something called Hoagland's Castle (see picture) supposedly on the moon, I wonder if those pictures are from the same area on the moon surface?

Actually, chineese historians documents the erection of a castle on the moon called The Palace of Great Cold under the reign of Emperor Yao all the way back in 2,309 BC, so perhaps the chineese built it?

my " snap " response would be - a foreign object ` caught ` in the film processing // digitalisation process

to test this - lets look at the image in context , ie :

part of a sequence of images taken sequentially to document the LEM

these images [ the relevant ones ] are : AS12-51-7504 ~ AS12-51-7511

now i cannot see the alledged building - or indeed any other anomoly in any of the hi-res digitisations i have perused

but over to you

show your alledged building in the rest of the sequence - or :

a - admit that its an image processing artefact

b - extrapolate a even more convoluted " explaination " for why only AS12-51-7507 was not " airbrushed "
