"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen."-Einstein

You should read up on the buddhist definition of the word "discriminatory".

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

The concept isn't flawed IMO, but the the term is frequently misapplied. A screwdriver is a great tool, but if what you need to drive is a nail, it comes up short.

1) Never throw stuff at a cop.
2) Never stand next to someone who's throwing stuff at a cop.

And that's my truncated version of a treatise on common sense.

Common sense tells you the sky is up and the earth is down, but it is more like out and in from a perspective in orbit.

The earth looks flat too, like someone else pointed out, but you get into trouble with that when you have to map the curved surface.

Common sense is just being practical in your daily life, from a human point of view. It is flawed because of our perspective, but it works to keep you out of trouble for the most part.
