How about bill?

Don't see much difference between him and hannity.

Im trying to imagine him not being a character when he joins the late show. That and daily show were the only news worth watching in the states.

Colbert was a classic. Endings to long running shows are always tough to watch. Glad they did another Word segment...they were one of his best segments IMHO.

Wilmore can be very politically sharp...I suspect his show is going to be mostly about politics. Big shoes to follow!

I kinda like bill.
Hannity has a voice that grates on me.
Beck whines and cries to much.
Stewart comes across as a smug jerk.
Nancy grace is a kardashian of news.
As you can see, my dislike has nothing to do with political ideology.

I laughed my A$$ off the other day, when I saw his commercial with the bald eagle, selling nuts. LOL the Eagle is blowing out pot smoke, and he says something really hilarious. Stephen Colbert, is a brilliantly funny guy, and extremely fast at making people laugh as he interviewed guest, not many people had his comedic talents. I havent watched the colbert report for some time, but I used to watch it every night.

Sean hannity
Howard stern
Glenn beck
Nancy grace

I totally agree with those! Colbert wasn't ANYTHING like them! I think maybe you didn't give it a chance enough to understand what he was about.

How odd.

Liver isn't anything like truffles but I don't like either one.
And you don't have to eat the whole sandwich to figure out you don't like the taste.
I really tried to watch his show on several occasions, I didn't think he was funny. Sorry so many of you disagree.

I think I see the problem..
Do you guys actually think these shows are news shows?
They would be classified as comedy or news satire.

Yeah the irony. No one finds it fsadder than me that since living in the US, the best source for news is comedy shows....

Yeah, I've seen some clips of Larry Wilmore, and he seems delightful, so I will be tuning in for sure.

Oh, I was definitely hoping it would be John Oliver too, but doubted he could be lured away from the big kahuna, HBO.

But I'm still optimistic about Wilmore : ).

Derp.

Of COURSE we know that - but, they still deliver THE NEWS.
