I was going to thank everyone (besides the bah- humbuggers) who had a bit of fun and made some predictions.

If something by some bizarre oddness actually transpires that was a correct prediction, can you come back and post it here that you fluked errrrr guessed one!

Aliens and UFOs--- In 2015 there will be NO disclosure and we will still be puzzled as always.

Cheap or free energy -- There will be NO breakthrough and Dr Stephen Greer will claim to know people who actually did find the secret of zero-point energy.

Economy... I will NOT win the lotery this year

Sports ... I will fail to predict this year national baseball champion.

Hmmmm.... maybe I will have a winner this year

I have one prediction for the rest of the this year:

And no matter what, I have 100% faith in this. It WILL happen. We will not be in the same world we are in now come 2016.

As for what I think will happen? Honestly, I don't think things will get much better.

Personal negativity breeds negativity. I think you know what I mean.

Who said I felt like my own life wasn't going to be OK? I just don't see much hope for the current geopolilitical scheme of things, and no matter how positive I am in my own little world, I doubt my life will affect much of that.

Well no luck so far for my prediction.

But it turns out asimo can sort of moonwalk back in 2014, or at least in this vid, though its choppy and time lagged I think. Besides its still early in the year, give it a few more months they will likely upgrade his moonwalking spinning garbing junk skills, then all he would need is one glove on his robot hand, and he would be super cool. Though I will not likely be around by then on this site to see it and gloat about it, but its gonna happen believe it. And that other stuff I said to.

I know it's a bit late, already more than a week into January. And this one is a wildcard in the technology sector.

Somebody crazy enough takes a good look at a recent theory about majorana fermions and anapolar field based dark matter. In turn they build a solenoid device to exploit the predicted geometry of the anapolar moment of this dark matter, and builds one of the first hysteresis drives. (A really basic type of warp drive.) This discovery allows use of dark matter as a reaction mass for a linear accelerator, and this new means of propulsion has many uses. What's great is that the field is providing the newtonian push-back, but dark matter itself doesn't interact with normal matter. So the thrust lines can be internal or push through anything of regular matter. There may be some oddities discovered along the way though, and one hysteresis drive could experience turbulence from the output of another.

Why is this important? The density of dark matter tends to follow a gradient inverse of normal matter. So out in space there's a lot of dark matter for this new propusion to act upon. And it's basically a very peculiar linear electric motor, so it's very efficient compared to reaction thrusters that require onboard stores of normal matter.

Thus we finally get real, tangible, and timely space travel. However it's very early, and we wont see much at first. Like aviation, it'll take a few decades to develop.

The same hysteresis effect on dark matter also has some thermodynamic uses, but they're not as readily obvious at first.

Awesome post

Only thing, is if someone does work it out, we Civvies will never get to to see it in 2015

*Burt Reynolds will pass on
*Barbara Streisand is in the news with a major medical issue
*Something resembling a gear/wheel thing will be seen or found on Mars
*A cache of ancient records will be found around September (like scrolls and tablets) that will be astounding
*Some kind of invisible plane will be announced, not sure if military or civilian
*A very freaky thing with the moon, kind of like a small piece gets knocked off from an asteroid. Not sure what I saw here.
*A deep sea crevice will be photographed and never before seen sea creatures near it
*A Hot air balloon mishap with a prominent government official
*One of the large television stations will merge with another (like ABC, CBS, etc.)
*Rampant fungal lung infections

I still don't know what you're talking about. I predicted the years weather when and where? I think you have me confused with someone else
Regarding my post , you do realize it's mostly satire and sarcasm right? Stating the obvious doesn't make it a prediction. . a reply to: sg1642

I hope what we seen in that video wasn't just part of debris that's got something much larger behind it

Doubtful because it would have been picked up already but that impact (or lack of) could have been catastrophic had it been big enough to hit the ground.
