Twas the night before Christmas is the beginning of an EERY tale,
when the depths of its true meaning are revealed,
it will make all Your problems seem pale.

For there has been a seed planted many many years ago,
to make us think shopping for Toys is normal,
when it is really not, though.

We are giving gifts to Our Children to celebrate a Birth of World renown,
of an Important Man of Our History Who when alive walked the Earth in a Gown.

He related Peace and Goodwill to All of the Souls of this world,
and to believe in Him in His Ritousness will deliver Splendor in Our afterlife,
in which We will Swirl.

So why do We give Items to Others in celebration of This Man's Birthday each year,
when Some cannot afford to give anything at all,
instead all They can give are tears.

The guilt that some will let weigh down Their Souls to the point of total despair,
it will even for some have Them end it all,
Their lifeless bodies no longer needing air.

For the seed planted by those who want to cash in on the birth of that Loving Soul We all know,
has altered the true meaning of this day to be one that gifts We must bestow.

Would You give a gift to Your neighbor for the celebration of Your Wife's birthday, instead of giving it to Her?
I don't think You would, No.
For in that act of doing so would delude the meaning of Her birth to near nothing to Her. Now isn't that so?

So what I am trying to say in this long relation of words,
is to Give thoughts of Love from Your Heart to Our Lord,
in doing this I'm sure You'll be heard............

I'm ecstatic to have another reader!

Just did a couple more segments.

You, sir, have a talent here. Its always the greatest (and worst, sometimes) gift in the world when we can dig into ourselves and manifest profound thoughts from questions and feelings we have.

I am equally ecstatic to see what You wrote about My 'talent'!!! I'm not so sure it is that persay, but it is something I enjoy doing anyway...... It is a kind of therapy for Me to sit down and type out an adventure, or take You guys to another world. I am there with My characters and enjoy every minute I am with them. I sometimes hate to finish something, as I am left feeling good, then a bit empty. Like I need to add more, or something, Ya know what I mean?

Thanx for the 3 thumbs up!!! Very much appreciated!!

I am going to read more of Your tale in the morning over some coffee.

It will be a good way to start My day!!!

Love it and totally agree!

This time of year can be so stressful when in the end it should really be about being surrounded by those we love, and maybe don't love so much...but hey...they're family! Instead it has turned in to who gave who the best most expensive present, it is sad.

So this year, presents only for the kids because thats all we can afford. There is nothing like seeing the eyes of my niece light up when she tears in to her presents.

The stress has been unbearable at times, the expectations of gift giving. It is good to know others feel the same way. People are so busy all year long, the best gift I can recieve is being able to spend time with my loved ones and enjoy a noce homecooked meal.

Thank You for the Like Minded response Jenne. It is nice to see others on the same wavelength.
And to think I was always the trouble maker kid growing up!! I always thought I had My head screwed on right as a youngster, poem above is a sample of My thinking then, and now. I still have the same passions as I did then, and then some......

Thanx for the Thumbs Up!!! I appreciate it!!!

Well written Syxpac and nice avatar! I love dragons as well.

To me Christmas is about end of year celebration and the turning of the sun into longer day light hours. Minute by minute every day from the 21st of December all the way until day light hours peak June 21, the daylight hours get longer. I have a feeling that's more along the lines of what the original end of year celebrations were about in ancient times.

Seldom does the average person give it one thought in their rush to buy gifts, of the added day light time that has already increased from sunset at 5:33 Dec 21 Winter Solstice (in these parts) to Sunset at 5:37 Christmas day. By the last day of December on the 31st, Sunset will be at 5:39 already increasing daylight by 6 minutes before the turn of the year in 10 days.
For those who love to be outside with hobbies and what not that's something to shout about.

Thank You and Merry Christmas! I agree that the end of Year celebratory tradition was most likely in favor of the sun's passing times. There is so much We have not been taught in early school that has mankind lacking in Life essentials, such as You described! Thank You for the detailed explanation on that!!!
Have a great end of Year celebration in whatever form it may take for You!!!
