U.N. "Peacekeepers" apparently shot real bullets at a crowd of protesters in Haiti.

There has been big problems in Haiti since the government was overthrown in 2004.

The article cites and comes down heavy on the "Corporatism" going on in Haiti.

Sounds like a classic debacle and maybe an example of Global NWO in action.

U.N. “Peacekeepers” Use Live Ammo on Protesters

The establishment media usually insists the United Nations is impartial and sends blue helmets to hotspots in the spirit of neutrality.

This fallacy was trounced yesterday when a Jordanian “peacekeeper” opened fire with live ammo on protesters demanding the resignation of Haiti’s President Michel Martelly and Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe.

The United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) has a dismal track record, according to Dr. Ajamu Nangwaya and other observers.

oh but those are not bullets, they are peace messages. very effective, and sometimes up to 100 peace messages can be delivered in just a few seconds...
why aren't rubber bullets in use? or anything like that?

None of the protesters in the video appeared to have any weapons besides rocks and other objects to throw. I think the use of force here is extremely excessive. The person in front that videotaped this had a lot of bravery to put the camera in the "peacekeeper's" face. Even if what the protesters were doing there was illegal, the UN peacekeepers involved here should face criminal charges. Especially if anyone was shot and killed. They had plenty of time to load some rubber bullets if they "had" to shoot them.

All they had to do was not throw rocks at the cops, everyone knows that.

Don't bring a rock to a gun fight as they always say.

Once you throw rocks you are not a protester, you are an assailant.

Use of force was excessive, but once someone shifts from a protester to an assailant I lose most of my sympathy.

sounds like one of those classical agent provocateur operations, put a few people in blue helmets & fire randomly ,, and bingo riots ,, then offer the solution..

You want to make an international incident about one "peacekeeper" that opens fire? How many did he kill? Why is it that liberals think that the good guys can't ever make mistakes and if they do, they need to be hung up? To be sure, that was an "incident" but don't overlook the bigger picture that has very complex aspects. To pull out one single incident or half a dozen similar episodes is not helpful. It is simply an effort to trash what is basically a well-meaning and just attempt to help save a country in a desperate, national, situation.
