One of the worst? I know he's naturally silly and very comedic, maybe that's what went against him?

I don't think Roger Moore is naturally silly and very comedic at all. He isn't trying to make you laugh. He can't act.

I have been a Bond fan my whole life, use to love them as a kid. My personal fav would be Thunderball, Live and let die, and Goldfinger. J. W. Pepper would be have to be my fav character, he was funny as hell for a sheriff.

I do like the Craig series very much and as was posted earlier I think he plays Bond well and takes him back to more of the original theme. I didn't like the Dalton series at all.

Great topic

Casino Royale. It turned a bloated, blubbery franchise that was overloaded with tropes and "it's a Bond movie...it's gotta have ____" moments and tore the guts right out. There were a few callback moments for the fans, but largely it just did everything pretty perfectly and did not feel weighed down at all.

All that was left was a sleek, streamlined and engaging movie with interesting characters, artfully choreographed action sequences and a cool story.

But the fans have obviously spoken. Quantum of Solace and Skyfall have been gradually reintroducing the fan service junk more and more. Pretty soon Craig will be swilling his shaken martinis with a Scottish accent over an invisible Aston Martin. In space or something.

the young dude that plays q is pretty cool and javier bardeem is creepy as hell with his messed up jaws..
bardeem is good at playing a creep.
i like the walther that q hooked bond up with. that only he could shoot.

Any connery, obviously.

Really love The Living Daylights.

IMO craig is trying to be more like Timothy Dalton, darker and edgier.

Its a shame Dalton only did two films but honestly I think bond fans were rather put off by his potrayal.

The forgotten Bond. Aussie George Lazeby. Funny:

Btw, the first time Bond cries. Probably why he didn't come back.
