I don't think they all suck, really. I've been known to go into Netflix induced watching sprees for days on end. To each their own, really. And I will openly admit I too have pirated things in the past. Though, I do tend to stay away from it now. Not because I fear any legal reprisal, but simply because I haven't found it necessary lately.

And as I've said to other posters here. Yeah, I agree 100% that pirating will never, ever go away. You can only take pot shots when a low-hanging fruit comes along, but you can't kill the beast.

I have netflix. Loved it for about a month. They need more content. They need to work on the interface.

The need to stop listing the same crap over, and over again.

And they need to add NEWER content more frequently.

I used to DL stopped that about 4 years ago because I found something better, That TC forbids me on elaborating on.

In about forty minutes when a white van comes along that has "Nothing to see here move along flower delivery company" poorly handpainted on the side, you might want to put your HDD in the microwave.

I actually like Netflix, but I agree Hulu does suck, ads blow. Amazon Prime isn't all that bad either though. Lots of good TV shows on Prime too.

The only one of those sites I miss really is EZTV. They had a neat little daily TV schedule, so I don't have to waste brainpower remembering what day the few shows I watch is on. I just popped in and check the schedule once a day.

For movies rarbg is my goto, not that I really watch many of them either. Mostly I use the music section, to find metal bands from europe I never heard of. Some reason norway seems to have a boatload of good metal bands these days, compared to other countries.

Looks like that might be an opportunistic malware site, not a genuine TPB site. Before anyone gets too excited...

Piratebay.org is still down. Here is another article from CNET, still from December 9th:

"There has been a crackdown on a server room in Greater Stockholm. This is in connection with violations of copyright law," Paul Pintér, the police national coordinator for IP enforcement, said in a statement, according to TorrentFreak.

The raid was also confirmed by prosecutor Fredrik Ingland, who works on file-sharing cases and who, according to Metro Sweden, initiated the raid.

"Several servers and computers were seized, but I don't want to say exactly how many," he told TT News Agency. "I can't say exactly what the crime is yet."

its only cheap because of pirating you muppet once they eradicate it they will bunk up the price all the companys that provide internet streaming will price fix and you will be stuffed

That is a good point. I have read that services like Netflix were inspired by file-sharing. In other words, they incorporated the fact that file-sharing exists into their business model, unlike companies that tried to fight it. So without file-sharing, we may have never had Netflix to begin with.

My friend actually has a self-destruct mechanism for his hard drive - when he presses a certain keystroke combination, a bit of thermite drops through it. I guess he did, or does, a lot of pirating and other questionable stuff on his P.C.
