If the government is covering up UFO's, why would they allow live streaming from ISS / other space

They use a seven second delay as is used my most broadcasts. Just enough time to hit the dump and give the impression to John Q. Public that it's a live continuous real-time feed.

Not to mention all the "cut to this camera" and feed interruptions.

Have you seen the quality of the cameras for live stream? That's why...

Most ppl believe what the gov says. We could have a live feed from the ISS adn have a ton of Greys massacre everyone on live stream. Someone over there at All Seeing Eye HQ would just dub over the feed Live from the ISS its your International Halloween Party. Throw up a commercial after that about the biggest bestest TV at Bestbuy that is on sale then return to Gilligan's Island and not a soul will remember what they were watching to begin with.

because 99% of people who see anything 'unusual' on the feed will likely

(A) not give a crap
(B) think it's aliens,
(C) think it's space junk/ice crystals
or
(B) dispense with any thinking of their own and believe the anomaly is whatever the 'experts' tell them it is, no matter how unlikely their explanation might be.

Because people will come to a thread about a UFO sighting from the ISS and claim it to be either space junk or whatever. People would then say yea, that's right, without believing in their own eyes. Happens all the time on ATS.

Sad really, people have seen " UFO's " in person but one that pops up in an ISS video is instantly [most always] claimed as junk.

It's not always, not always.

There's a lot of possible speculation - I think that the recent disclosure of documents and such, on top of things [like the ISS feed] are simply spoon feeding before the larger meal to come.

because they can explain it away with a bunch of scientific mumbo jumbo that %99 of people won`t ever understand.
They could just make stuff up and most people wouldn`t know if what they are saying is even possible because most people don`t have the scientific background to dispute what they are saying.

Even if someone with a scientific background and education was to dispute them most people would just see it as debate about scientific theories which they have no hope of ever understanding,so they won`t know who to believe.

I imagine it`s kind of like explaining to a 6 year old how electricity works,
one person tells the child that it works by magic and another person gives the child an indepth scientific explaination.
since the child has a very limited understanding of magic and science how will he decide which person to believe?

so far there hasn`t been any clear,up close indisputable videos of UFO`s in space,all we have are videos of white lights on a black space background,so it`s easy to baffle people with scientific explanations as to what the lights are.

It`s kind of a catch-22 situation really:
alien craft don`t exist because there are no pictures of them
how do we know there are no pictures of alien craft? because alien craft don`t exist.
how do we know they don`t exist? because there are no pictures of them.
how do we know there are no pictures of alien craft? because they don`t exist.

If there is in fact a cover-up of alien visitation on Earth, it isn't just governments who would need to be keeping the secret -- the aliens themselves would need to be complicit in the cover-up.

I mean, if ET wants their presence to be absolutely and obviously known to everyone on Earth, there are very easy ways to do it. But that hasn't happened, so either the visiting aliens are also complicit in keeping their existence a secret, or there is no alien visitation of Earth that is happening.

Maybe to allow glimpses of some celestial objects/CREATOR Creations that are not to complex, before just disclosing there are STARSHIPS from the SUN/SOL all the way out to PLUTO would be my guess So sort of spoon feeding the conscious minds observing more then the general populace to evaluate the truth seeker minds here before the meal is shared with the general population...

Its a slow leak of information. They knew we were never alone long ago. Its about spoon feeding the masses into the final truth: there are others among us. Actually we may have more in common with them, than we ever could have guessed.

No way to prove it. We just have to take NASA's word that it's a continous live feed. And we know they always tell us the truth about everything.

Which government is covering it up because there are around 200 sovereign states on Earth?

Who in these governments would know 'the secret' and when they leave government (and eventually this earth) who then learns 'the secret' that need to be covered up?

It's a mighty big secret to hide. That is of course if it is a secret.

Some people even argue how incompetent, selfish and corrupt politicians are on the one hand whilst also believing they can shape a global secrecy policy and keep it going for 7 decades.

Isn't it actually a lot more likely that no government has a clue what genuinely unidentified flying objects are, but they also don't want you or I to know that to appear to be 'in control'?

But seriously -- the way the video signals are transmitted and converted, there are delays that add up to several seconds, even before the video reaches Mission Control. Then it gets routed via satellite to the site that does public distribution. If you then watch the 'NASA TV' cable broadcast and run a streaming video on your PC, you'll see several seconds more delay.

And there IS a video squelch button on the PAO console -- I took a picture of it on a recent visit, let me look it up. Nobody who works there ever remember it being used, the expectation is for some hideous disaster of torn bodies or zero-G naked sex maniacs. Folks in Mission Control think the public fascination with 'UFO videos' is sadly idiotic.

No, you don't -- some of the voice comes down in UHF and can be picked up on the ground, and compared. Even some Apollo voice was picked up by amateur SWLs, they reported hearing the same stuff that went out over the public air waves.
