" Whats been accomplished by protesting in Ferguson, NYC and others... "

Probably mostly nothing.

Except some more political power.

Protesting rarely works, in fact, I don't know a protest that has actually been effective in change since the civil rights movement some 50+ years ago. Look at what happened with Occupy Wall Street, thousands of people all over protesting, camping out in NYC making huge waves. And guess what happened...NOT A DAMN THING. The people in power know that people will give up at a certain point and go back to their lives trying to get by.

If their goal was to create traffic here in nyc, then cheers to you protesters, you've done a great job.

It would be nice if they focused more of their energy on improving their neighborhoods, quality of life, education, etc - instead of helping to make excuses for two individuals that simply could've handled their situations better.

I miss the ebola insanity.

Institute of Justice?

How about they call it the Ministry of Truth?

Has a better ring to it, don't you think?

What has been accomplished? The eradication of dissent in favour of mob tactics and violence.
