I wrote, and rewrote my post. I couldn't find the right words to describe how I felt.

So instead, I'll leave with this;

"And When he gets to heaven,

To Saint Peter he will tell;

One more Marine reporting, sir.

I've served my time in Hell!"

If you wear the same ones on FTX for six weeks, they ARE a secret weapon.

I mailed a pair to Mom once, since she didn't believe me.

Oh, ok. We had a AF NCO in his 50's too, he was sorta middlin' big as well. But you sort of expect that out of AF.

Jim was also a teacher in a flight school in Huntsville, and flew cargo on weekends. He stayed there and kept flying cargo full time when we left Huntsville for Pensacola. One day, he was flying a load of small cargo alone and while he was on approach to Bloomington, he had an aortic aneurysm that split his aorta open right at the root where it comes out of the heart, filled up his pericardium and killed him in seconds.

His last words were "Ah, # me", which was a standard Jim-ism, and then he aimed the plane for the woods instead of the neighborhood.

LOL I've seen that on other dating sites, so I'll strike up a conversation with them, esp if theyre wearing an army uniform, I'll ask where they did basic, their mos, etc. One told me her MOS was top secret and she couldnt tell me...needless to say that person was gone LOL
