Now that is a different story, and one I would agree with you. But the ambulance did show up and it was determined that he was dead, so it just became a crime scene, rather than a clean up. This is pretty common actually. Forensics and all, so to speak.

The time frame annoyed me, more for imagined incompetence than anything else. The scene was right out of Criminal Justice 101. It should have been handled quickly and efficiently. The longer a body lays in plain view of the neighbors, the more tongues are likely to wag and things will quickly get spun out of control.

That's why I feel many of the protesters are protesting against the cops but forgetting Mike Brown wasn't as innocent as they're making him out to be. The video proves it. Sure the whole situation has now gotten out of line but I don't think this would have happened if he wasn't involved in the first place.

You stated in a previous post that you think the black panthers are racist - which makes them hate filled murderer's like Darren Wilson and the GJ/DA because they didn't bring a bill against him for hate filled murder. It is clearly "guilt by association" for all whites since they hate all white "crackers/pink toes/paper plates/apes/honkies/devil's and I could go on.

What I don't understand is why you and others here are condoning what is going on. I am all for peaceful protests to show you are fed up and not going to take anymore. Hell I want to do that sometimes myself because I get from all sides due to my lifestyle difference. But these "protesters" see the violence and destruction that is occurring around them. Why don't they protest during the day and point out the vandals who are causing the disruption? When I see that I will gladly be behind the "protesters". No one can read anyone's mind so we don't know what these "protesters" are going to do so we have to go by actions. What I have seen so far isn't peaceful protests.

Let me tell you something, blacks are not the only ethnic group to be enslaved in America. The ones who paved the path before you were the Irish Americans. Yeah, my ancestors. They were considered as chattel - lower than the black slaves. I don't care if was later called indentured servitude, it was still slavery and many many many of my ancestors died - as did they die along the Barbary Coast. Plus my great great grandmother on my grandmother's side was a full blooded Cherokee and my great great grandmother on my grandfather's side was a full blooded Black Foot. So I have two sets of ancestors who were killed off in America. I was taught about this by my mother because she always wanted me to look past the pigment in someone skin. Her beloved friend/sister from another mother was a black woman. Her son and I are married. Our mommas invested time and discipline in us. That is how we rose above the socioeconomic hand we were dealt.

Now for President Obama - he has done everything in his power to show his hatred and contempt for the white blood that runs through his veins. Not once but twice he has made public his sorrow for two young black men who died and applied pressure to the investigators in the cases. I can name several - which I think I already have - white people who have been killed by blacks and he is no where to be found seeking justice or black on black crime.

I just wonder when the blinders will come off and see that these so called leaders for justice in the name of black power is hoodwinking the masses. There are racist among every ethnicity. The point is for the most part the true racist are dying off and hopefully this newer generation can bring about some peace. When I see a black woman with a white man ore vice versa I jump for joy inside because I see one foot a time bringing about change and acceptance of differences. I was always taught that you had to turn the page to read the next sentence/part. Refusing to let go of past injustices will stifle your growth.

Go back and read what I've written. Look for one thing that says, implies or even insinuates that I approve of what the looters and violence-doers are doing. When you don't find that, realize that I have nothing for criminal activity, of any stripe.

I have a problem with every protester being immediately identified with the criminals.

Al Sharpton does what he does. Some see him as an important figure speaking on behalf of the Black Community.

Some see him as a parasitical race-baiter. As with most things, I imagine the reality is somewhere in between.

I do think Officer Wilson is a racist. (As a matter of fact, I think we all are to greater and lesser degrees; we all prefer the company of our own "tribe" whatever we consider that to be.) I think the situation with Michael Brown got away from him. I don't think he set out that day to kill him a Black kid. But that is how the day ended. Self-defense or overreaction, the day ended the same way.

The New Black Panthers Party is a racially-biased group. I'm sure the individuals who make up that group have differing perspectives. Some believe they're fighting for freedom, some for their race, some for themselves. Some hate white people, some view that as more or less a catechism.

There's too many questions and inconsistencies in how the DA handled the GJ. McCulloch has too many opportunities and reasons to demonstate his own bias.

I'm a gay, atheist, Scot-Irish, Southerner. I may know a bit about being a Stranger, myself.

Don't see what you see in Obama.

The only blinders that need to come off is anything that makes us look at each other and see anything other than ourselves.

I'm not about to attempt to dig into each one, because that would take us far away from the topic of the OP.

I do understand that when a person is afraid of a US President, that the "martial law/dictator for life" scenario gets played out. There were folks on the extreme left that didn't think that Bush/Cheney would relinquish power to Obama, yet, they did. I myself don't think it's a real possibility, but that's my opinion of course.

I've heard about a race war in the US from the days of Charlie Manson. There are just so many factors that make such an idea impractical over the long run, the huge size of the US being one of them, lack of effective weaponry on the part of any group to actually withstand the might of the American military or even, quite obviously, local police departments. We could argue, in a way, that such a race war is here and has been here in the inner cities, but, again, that's really just a way of looking at it. I really do believe that the idea of a "race war" or even a "civil war" in the US is mere political rhetoric for the most part.

I don't agree with your assessments about "Team Obama" but I can see some of the logical basis that you've formed your opinion on, which puts you miles ahead of the typical ATS ideologue.

(Bush/Cheney set up surveillance of Obama in 2007/2008. After the "planned events" of 9/11, withholding the news that bin Laden died of natural causes in Afghanistan in Dec. 2001, and the many lies and illegalities around claiming WMD to get involved in Iraq, and then the torture claims, Bush/Cheney wanted a firewall against future prosecution.

(That firewall was Obama, whose own past is littered with such inconsistencies and moral/ethical conundrums, that he had to agree to protect Bush/Cheney, just to keep his own unsavory Past under wraps. Did Bush/Cheney then push for Obama to be President - versus the loudly anti-corruption GOP candidate, McCain? Possibly. wowee this fits right into the scenario of the Peter Geithner/Stanley Ann Dunham working for the Ford Foundation in micro-loans for Indonesia while working the Suharto coup. Interesting stuff. The possible use of this remains to be seen. We do know that they have underground bunkers in the US, Russia and other places. Just look at all the Hollywood movies which have that as their theme.... Deep Impact which is currently showing over and over on cable, shows a select population going into the underground bunker in Missouri of all places, that movie based on the mayan prophecy has the sea arks involving only a select group of people, then there was the one with the Climate Change freezover where there was an underground bunker people were being shuttled to.
While these movies are all fiction, often we find Hollywood depicting insider information on certain things, and the bunker scenario keeps popping up. Even in the Terminator the SKYNET bunker was functional.

Fair enough - I apologize for the word condone - it was 2 a.m when I wrote that and could have wrote it differently to convey my message.

I still hold steadfast to my point about the protesters seeing what is going on around them. Point out those criminals who are doing the looting and burning down of establishments. Don't let them get away with distracting the agenda of the protesters. To hell with the "snitches get stitches" mentality. This is my whole problem with these protests. There has been a long unsaid mentality - I will not "snitch" on my fellow brother/sister no matter what they are doing. There is a saying "a few bad apples ruin the bunch" - or however it goes. If I have a bag of apples and a few are rotten - commonsense tells me that I should remove the rotten ones to keep them from ruining the good ones. I know I would point them out regardless if that makes me a "snitch" or unpopular.

As for Al Shapton I see him as the latter. He makes money hand over fist when it comes to race relations. I have never seen him in the front lines. MLK was a GREAT LEADER important figure in the black community. He was in the front lines and always handled himself with dignity and grace. He didn't preach hate like good ole Al does.

The nbpp members know what they are signing up for when they joined this hate filled group. These kind of groups/leaders prey on the herd mentality type and not the individual logical thinker. So no matter the perspective there is only one agenda.

I guess I am the odd woman out because I don't prefer the company of my "tribe". I have love for and congregate with many people who are from different ethnicity's/nationalities/socioeconomic backgrounds/religions/genders/sexual preferences and so on. I try to talk to and get to know everyone I meet. We all have a story to tell and if we would take the time to invest in listening/getting to know our fellow humans I think we could progress to the next level of humanity.

I can't say that officer Wilson is a racist with said certainty as you. Yes the day ended the same way. There are two parties at fault here in this tragedy. That is officer Wilson and Mike Brown. Not one or the other. They both participated.

I don't see it as bias. I see it as a man who was in a lose - lose situation. It is not unheard of to present to the GJ in this manner. If it was then I would be up in arms - screaming from the rafters - about bias. This man did it in this manner to try to allow himself off the hook. If I were in his shoes I would have probably done the same thing. Let's pretend for a moment that he had presented it in a way that brought about a bill. It goes to trial and officer Wilson was found not guilty. The outcome would still be the same. This was a no win situation especially when people are out for blood.

It has been said by some that these individuals know they are already judged and are so insane they are willing to take an entire planet with them on their way to the fiery pit of the Second Death.

I rarely get this metaphysical about it on public forums, but it is the only logical explanation for their insane plans.

Their plans won't take overnight. They're very patient people, they use the wealthy and big names to carry out the agendas while pacifying them with wealth and perceived power/prestige.

People must think they want to wipe out everybody in a day or two, it doesn't work that way.

We see through it for whatever reasons, if people cannot let them be absorbed by the beast they worship, we can't do anything for them, they have to do it themselves.

The Fabian Socialists use the slow boiling frog tactics.

Remember this bit from high school "Innocent until proven guilty."

Guilty as in 'found guilty by a jury of peers'.

He may have been guilty, we will never know. Video evidence is not all that conclusive.
