We really seriously totally need a heart icon

Yanno where the smilies are at below? Because I'm big on tossing out the hearts and 'lessthan3' doesn't show up. And it's odd writing 'I heart you all'. So could you possibly integrate a nice little heart down there by the beer sign or something?

I'd lessthan3 you guys at ATS forever if you did.

ATS needs a lot of things. This is at the bottom. Unless it's easy, then I don't care. First we should ban everyone that doesn't agree with me automatically. Then get rid of that nefarious Skeptic Overlord. Then members who wish to post should send me cookies, some sort of edible arrangement or in a crunch, cash. Then we will worry about you and your less than 3.

I kept reading less than three as -3 (doesn't look like a heart doofus), and thought OP was perhaps touched in the head. I don't know why I always feel the need to admit my dumbassery, but there you go.

The smileys are awful,they used to be good as well.

With such a loving crew here on ATS, a heart emoticon is a must!

There was something in the heart candies this year at Valentine's Day. It tasted like chalk or asbestos (I never ate asbestos but that was a possibility that streaked through my mind.) Anyone else notice this candy heart issue? I assume that it was part of the huge FCC conspiracy to taint America's food supplies and ignore the food industry ethics for cleanliness and food safety. I bought two boxes, ate one real quick then spit out the very un-candy tasting heart and threw the other box away.

the less-than sign from math, coupled with a 3 looks like a rudimentary heart. Ergo: less-than 3.

You can make ♥ by just pressing and holding the 'alt' key and typing 3, then release the alt key.

Better than lessthan3 IMO, and you don't have to copy/paste (or type) the code for an uploaded image.

Yes that's a nice trick but it only works with the 3 on the numpad, not the 3 at the top of the keyboard.

Very true...unless you want to take a few extra steps:

WinKey + R > CharMap > Enter ...

But that's overkill just for a little heart icon...
