I used This wikipedia page for milk consumption by nation; I used this webpage for national breast cancer rates by nation.

I'm calling out your claims right now. It's bunk.

Only 2 states hit the top 10 in both lists: Denmark and Montenegro.

But others, Like Lebanon; number 5 for breast cancer, number .... 81 for milk consumption.

Egypt is number 26 for breast cancer; it doesn't even top the first 100 for milk consumption.

Basically, the genetic pools with high rates of breast cancer include south America, West Europe, and a smattering across africa. THAT is a far better explanation of cancer than milk consumption. Nice try though.

My own nation, (USA) is the number 16 milk guzzler, but comes in # 61 in breast cancer.

I f you look at the U.S.A and include Minnesota and Wisconsin, the highest milk consumers in the States, I think its Minnesota that doesn't include its breast cancer rate into the National . But these States are basically populated by western Europeans. and have very high rates. So when looking at the map areas where their is high lactose intolerance, like China. The incidence of Breast Prostate and heart disease is insignificant. But Denmark Belgium U.K. have staggering high rates. One in eight males will get Prostate the same goes for females with regard to breast cancers. These are not the main cause of death, its heart disease, and strokes, Even the medical profession agree that the main cause of this is caused by the high Triglycerides from dairy produce.

You could also look at cheese consumption per capita. I'm not saying that the statistics are perfect, of course their are many factors which would alter things slightly, like amount of vitamin D .Diet etc. this looks like its a latitude thing, but it makes for interesting reading. www.dummies.com...

How to explain the high rate of Breast cancer in Egypt and Nigeria, both of which have higher rates than the US, but have no milk consumption?

America drinks more milk than UK, but has far, far lower incidence of cancer. What's up with that?

LOL I love how you cite medical research/studies in your post!!!!!!!!!!!! Where are your statistics to support your absurd unscientific conclusions???????????

There is nothing wrong with dairy or dairy products per se. In fact dairy from animals raised and fed correctly is probably one of the top 5 foods any human being can consume. Right along with red meat from pastured animals. Raw dairy products do not cause lactose intolerance among 99.9% of the population compared to their pasteurized counterpart. Pasteurization takes a wholesome, natural food and completely destroys and alters everything good and nutritious about it. Raw milk is an amazing food with curative properties. But again the animals have to be raised right and fed right. That's the problem and therein lies the fault with these stupid arguments and extremes "i.e. red meat causes cancer, or dairy will kill you". Yes the hormones are a problem. But again domesticated bovines were never meant to be pumped full of 21st century chemicals and drugs.

I could go on and on about the benefits of raw milk. One of the best sources of glutathione. A whole host of natural occurring digestive enzymes and probiotics. Now if you want to argue pasteurization of dairy products is killing us you might have a solid point, one that I would agree with. But to label "dairy" in general as unhealthy and causing cancer is just STOOPID! Humans have been eating dairy products i.e. cheese, kefir, milk, for thousands of years. Goat's milk for example has amazing healing properties.

From my studies on milk I would have to say it is not good for most people to consume it on a regular basis. It is a great medicine, taken when needed or craved. I was BSed to believe milk was good for people and that those who can't drink it are defective. I was led to believe a lie. I no longer feel that my allergy and intolerance is a fault, I think a real lot of people have been led to believe that milk is good for you when in fact it has so many bad points that most people should not consume it. Real milk from properly raised cows is a lot better tolerated, but for half the world's population it is actually not good. We shouldn't be led to believe that the people who can tolerate it are superior, they aren't. They have a mutation that allows them to drink milk and this mutation has bad points.

Milk is not supposed to be a beverage, it is a food. This food does cause more problems than it does good half the time.

Amen to that.
Allergies are a leading cause to most cancers.. the body can only take the bombardment so long before the organs finally start to loose the fight. and malnutrition big contributor.

Like Arnold said; Milk is for Babies.

\
It wouldn't be anything to do with the tons of excess milk powder dumped in these countries, which would otherwise be dumped to keep the prices up.? Americas Breast cancer rate along with Prostate cancers is as high as anywhere else in the developed world. One in eight will get it at some time.
Probably a bit of Cheese and milk once a week as a treat wouldn't do much harm. But from personal experience, since I stopped the Dairy my Triglyceride levels have dropped to normal, I was also supposed to have Type 2 diabetes, but now the Fasting blood sugar levels are normal along with the blood pressure readings. I also take a lot of Cider vinegar which flushed the fats out. That's with no other medications.

I understand where your coming from. You are entitled to your point of view. But I'm coming from a viewpoint that has observed people getting fatter over the last three decades. Now I observe people wandering out of the golden arches and the other cloned establishments who are morbidly obese. Most are female with children ,the children look tubby and out of sorts. The Ice cream in the milkshakes, are from dairy cows that have been pushed to the max. The burgher meat is from dairy cows that have passed their use by date, as long as they can still stand up they are sent to the slaughterhouse. Every bit of the carcase is minced, nothing is wasted. The result of this on the health of a nation, is well researched and known. Add in the consumption of soda pop, and a health apocalypse isn't looming ,its already here. The jobs are increasingly sedentary, and a car is necessary, as the shopping malls are usually beyond walking distance.
Cows milk, is designed in its most benign form for a calf to grow at a very fast rate compared to a human child. The problem is that the same growth hormone that the Bovine uses is the same that humans use. Adults shut it down, as they no longer need rapid cell growth, but the over consumption of dairy, continues the ingested growth hormone, along with increased oestrogen, thanks to pushing the cow to lactate copious quantities of milk. The governments of the developed world realise that their is a health crisis, and have so far pointed the finger at Tobacco. But the Asian Paradox would suggest, where smoking is endemic, that the rates of lung cancer are nowhere near what they are in the West. Its no coincidence that most Asians are lactose intolerant, and therefore don't consume the stuff.
Here we are back to the profit motive, the greedy feed off the sick, the sicker the population, the richer they become, the richer they become the weaker and less fit they become to resist. When they cant afford the statins and all the other medical procedures the Government takes up the slack, and socialise the medications. In fact give taxpayers money to Monsanto and big pharma, because the point is reached where they own the legislators. But on the other hand, nobody forced you to eat the sh$%#@ in the first place.

Great post couldn't agree more. Most food has been processed and altered these days and I wonder just what these anti dairy people think we should be consuming. Come on guys tell us what we should be eating and let us tell you what is wrong with it. Anything grown as a crop has now been genetically modified and has no food value. And don't forget that sugar is the main cause of obesity not to mention it contains pesticides. And as I mentioned in an earlier post soy products are highly allergenic. I discovered this myself and it almost killed me. So stick your soy where the sun doesn't shine.
One of the most annoying arguments I have ever heard about cows milk is that it was not designed for humans. What? Apart from Soylent Green, what food is?
cheers

Dude, people are getting fatter on sugar. There is more and more of this being put into our food and drink than ever before I swear. I am finding it difficult to even drink soft drink now as it far too sweet and i feel like being sick. Sugar also contains pesticides from the cropping process so that can't be too good either. Those milk shakes you speak of are full of sugar and the buns on those hamburgers are also full of sugar. Don't be surprised if those burgers contain the dreaded soy instead of beef.

I know this is random and kind of off topic
But my god, I would hate to be reincarnated into a dairy cow.. Or any animal that is used for food related purposes.. Chickens, goats, ect..
Now at least the ones that go to slaughter just have to die..
The conditions in those places are utterly disgusting, crowded, and filled with filth.
I'm sure there are some exceptions ... But not many.
I once watched a documentary on chicken farm used for primarily eggs and that place was ridiculous. Just chaos

They don't make too many documentories where the animals are well treated- there would be no point. Yes there is way too much mistreatment of domestic animals in this world and we should refuse to buy factory farmed produce. Cows are intelligent and social animals and feel all kinds of emotions like us. But most dairy cows I have come across would enjoy their lives just fine. The only exception is when they are separated from their calves as some cows seem quite heartbroken.

Yes agreed, the cluster f%^$# is in full swing, during the second world war the British came out the healthiest they had ever been. The Germans confiscated the pigs and cows in Denmark, and they also experienced a dramatic fall in all the common illnesses. Which all returned after the animals had been repatriated after the end of the conflict. Its gotta tell us something.

People get fat because they consume more calories than they burn off through exercise. It really is that simple. No grand conspiracy, no weird, exotic or outright speculative nutritional theories, it's simply calories in > calories out.

milk is also sugar normally about 8% is lactose and after its been pasteurised its nasty the same as the calcium which changes into inorganic calcium once they have applied heat to it but if you don't educate yourself you are always going to be dying early or just grow your own food from a seed you can get from a friend or a cutting.
