I go by the name Slum, or ThaSlumPoet ( Spiritually Liftin' & Unifyn' Minds while Piecing Otherworldly Esoteric Thoughts )

I have many different styles each with the same theme / raising awareness, vibrations, shedding light on what I think it is important
I advocate being natural (vegan essentially, I just don't like the word) meditation, yoga, basically all things spiritually enlightening

My earlier work such as Elephant is on the darker side of things addressing general conspiracies, and all around anger towards the beast (the evil who attempts to control and brainwash my fellow human) but it is only through the darkness that we may find our internal light

We call it Detachment Music, de-taching from things that serve us in the egotistical sense and become one (whole ) in order to get back to nature (zero point) , all while helping others and myself tap into and recognize our christ like potential.

Although I like your texts, I don’t really like rap singing. But I like your use of beautiful melodic and haunting music. Also the use of your imagery is a good eye-candy – and would love to see a clip here and there.

Yours is probably the only sort of Rap I can tolerate and actually enjoy.

I like to tune into NYU radio late nights for the "spiritual Rap". Its some crazy stuff. The lyrics are amazing.

I havent heard your stuff but I think its probably similar with the "mind freedom" type defiant stuff out there. I like it. Its the only REAL rap out there.
