U2U error?

I just logged in to find i had 3 new u2u messages. Only when i checked the inbox it said that one of those messages had already been read.

Is this an error or is it what happens when mods read my u2u's before i do?

Its an error, it has happened to me as well.

I think the person that sends the u2u can reread it by going to their outbox, and I think if they do that it switches the message to "read".
