Just great

Watch in full screen btw.

Directed by Tomek Bagiński.

Awesome.

Remember today folks it is a massive day in History.

Also I gotta say Iam so very proud to be a part of the human race today.
We will achieve so many great things.
I have cried about 20 times today...tears of joy and wonder.
We are amazing.

Also even If the likkle fella flys off due to anchoring problems don't get too disheartened we still landed on it and it will still be seen as a success.

Didn't it land a few hours ago? I thought they showed it on tv here three or four hours ago?

Yes.....
The film was made to promote the mission.
Did you watch it?.

Sure did, has Lord Baylish and his dodgy accent.
Was ok but I'd bet the actual story of how the Europeans did it would be a far better watch.
It certainly didn't move me, was nicely done and visually nice but meh.
Each to their own I guess.

Okay...I thought with that name you would have enjoyed it more

It sort of reminded me of Dr Manhattan on mars in the movie The Watchmen.
But that video just seemed a little corny if I'm being honest.
I like the sentiment and I think it's an incredibly audacious mission and its an incredible achievement but that short film was ok, nothing spectacular imho.

That was excellent! Whoever came up with that was having fun AND promoting science etc. It was clever. It's not well known. I wish it was out there more. It would do the space programs some good.

That is cool I was just watching that at the esa website

www.esa.int...

it is at the begining of the rerun of the touch down

Replay of ESA TV coverage during the touch-down of the Philae lander and receipt of first signals from the surface of comet 67P/C-G. Replay runs about 90 minutes. Landing took place at 16:03 GMT (17:03 CET), 12 November 2014.
