"Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law." - Book of the Law

First of all, let me state this. There is nothing in creation or existence that is not an act of Will and Love. Will and Love underlie everything. Love is the natural state of things, harmonious and unified. This is because everything is the one Divine Mind. An individual is a unique expression of that Mind, or the Divine. I like to think of individuals as sparks of a flame, the flame being God 'him'self, the spark being one expression of it. Not separate from it, 'it' being all of the sparks, the whole flame, and yet at the same time existing individually.

Now, an 'individual' is a singular, indivisible expression of the Divine. Every single spark is unique. And thus our individuality is real, despite the ultimate unity. Though ultimately one of an infinite number of expressions of the One Divine, it is all that could ever be known as our Self or Will. Now remember, this spark, the one true essence and reality of who we are, is indivisible. It contains every nuance of our individuality, yet in and of itself is indivisible. It is one absolute, undivided expression of the Divine.

Now, from where arises this world of apparent contradiction and disharmony? It is nothing more than adding, combining, and dividing disparate elements. Falsely identifying with that which we are not. Remember, everything that exists is ultimately a spark in the divine flame. Everything and everyone is individual and unique. God does not express himself in any way other than wholly. Thus we lose our Self when we are not whole, when we mix our essence with foreign elements. And it is from just this that arises all of our problems.

Our aim and purpose in living is to know and embody our True Will. It's all a process of clarification. You cannot say this intermingling of the elements is bad or purposeless, for the great number of experiences and intermingling which individuals go through does enrich the initial spark. But nonetheless, we are one indivisible individual. The true essence of who we are has a Will, as it is a conscious creation of the Divine. And this Will contains everything we are, and everything we desire. In the True Will, there is nothing contradicting your being and desire. Your Being and your desire is the essence of the spark, or conscious mental creation, of the Divine. Cease to be distracted by that which is foreign to your true Being. Come to know your True Will, which exists without contradiction. And then live this Will. You have no right but to do your Will. And doing your Will is the whole of the Law.

If all is a manifestation of the one, then how can anything be a false-representation?

Not false representations. Intermingling of disparate elements, 'sparks.'

S&F!

Though semantics and conceptualizations may differ because of our relative-subjectivity, in your op, you have expressed a mutual understanding, to which, varying mystical, spiritual, and metaphysical traditions allude.

I enjoy conceptualizing my gnosis as,... All is One and One is All. Everything is an emanate manifestation of the One, composed of the One, immanently containing the One, for the One. Existence is the One experiencing itself in a relative and subjective fashion.

Separation is an illusion, perpetuated by time, space, place, perspective, relativity, and subjectivity. Differentiation and separation arise from superficial and illusionary Duality. Opposite things are actually varying degrees of the same one thing.

Complete unity and oneness may be contrasted with complete chaos and separation,... which, in its self, is a duality that must be realized and reconciled into One.

Jiddu Krishnamurti and David Bohm had a lovely discussion, in which they described it as arising from the ground [metaphoric not literal ground] of its self, coming full circle, and back to the ground.

We, as a collective humankind, have been mentally and emotionally conditioned for some time. It is a dangerous thing to tell conditioned minds to follow their Will. For to do so only perpetuates and strengthens the Will of those who influence.

Therefore, we must first transcend our conditioning. This is an inner and personal journey for each individual. We may learn from others, but we must humbly seek that which can only be experienced by the kgnowing of gnosis. It is from here that true Love blossoms, as we experience and kgnow the Self/God/Divine in all around us. And it is from this true Love that the greatest expression of Will shall manifest.

To be honest, these words and concepts expressed are only words. That which is true, flees from the bounds and limitations of description and explanation.

As deeply and meaningful as possible; BE NOW

Great post, S&F.

Yes, we are expressions of the divine and the divine light is within everything. All of existence is right in front of us being revealed by the divine light. Know thyself and you will know all.
