You can get a Russian mail-order bride for less money. If she likes you, maybe even cheaper.

Talk you out of it ? If you got the buckage score that orgasmic piece of audio goodness by all means do it.

But be forewarned. Analog can become an obsession.

I had an audiophile buddy who spent obscene amounts of cash to dampen his system from the effects of the Earth's rotation.

I s##t you not.

If you do not buy this I will die of cancer--you dont really want me to die of cancer do you?

But seriously: Why play irreplaceable vinyl on an inferior turn-table?

Unless you have perfect 20-20k Hz hearing, no hearing loss in any part of that spectrum, get a CD player. The audio quality is better. Put the money toward good speakers. Or the cabbage on the Russian bride (but get a prenup).

Long ago, I had a really nice Mcintosh tube amp. sigh.

However, may I suggest this as an alternative? www.project-audio.com...

Reviews are just a gushing, bit it's $500.
