You'v Got Mail, with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. I cried at the end of the movie, with Meg.

Semi old thread re dredged but I have to say this.

UP when the wife looses the baby. I watched this with my partner a lady of under 30 years and my 6 year old son.

He asked why she was crying? I said she hurt her foot and we all know how much that hurts.

He said "Dad I came off my bike the other day and bailed. I know she's a girl but there's no way even a girl would cry like that over a hurt foot. Really why is she crying so much it's only a film it's not even real"

Then he told her not to worry about things too much and gave her a hug.

Then she cried even more I took her to bed and me and the boy watched transformers 2 and ate all of the pizza.

In 15 years time he is going to have one of those "ohhhhhhhhhh" moments

City of Angels - Whoever came up with the ending to this needs to be thrown off of a bridge. I was pissed for weeks.

Yep.

Bridge to Teribithia (spelling?)

Marley & Me

Two other movies with horrible endings made to make you leak....

Those that brought a tear of joy:

Jurassic Park (original), when they see the dinos for the first time.

Cutting Edge, when they do the Pimchenko move....(this is like the chick flick every guy secretly likes, and no, I don't know why either). It's like why we love Bond movies. We just do, alright?
