EXCLUSIVE-U.S. may significantly hike number of troops in Iraq - sources

It's not in the U.S. interest to defeat ISIS at the moment. They are a useful tool for creating chaos, making good reason to attack Syria. Wasn't it last year, Syria was in our crosshair, but the American people shouted NO? All of a sudden, the Sunni awakening we funded, armed, and encouraged to form their own state, is now enemy number one? It won't be a surprise when we somehow manage toppling assad, and empowering ISIS.
