Have you all noticed how every two years the voters change directions. Constantly focusing on Obama will do nothing. The new red congress will have to preform up to expectation or they will lose in 2 years.

Are they gonna preform or attempt to repeal the aca 50 times? Are they gonna send sane bills to Obama to sign or more demands about his birth certificate? I'm curious, will they lead? Or do nothing in hopes the electorate will vote red in 2016?

Now that congress is a red congress, it would be difficult to blame everything thats wrong on Obama. Lets see what you can do?

Well, let's see. If they pass up legislation that people like and Obama constantly vetos it, then I would expect it not to hurt them too much even if nothing gets done.

It's right in your Numbersusa source, first item:

1. Immigration and Reform Control Act (IRCA), 1986: A blanket amnesty for some 2.7 million illegal aliens

Who do you think signed that into law?

Side note:

I'd personally be embarrassed to repeat anything from any of the John Tanton spawned anti-immigration network but to each his own. Frankly, amnesty is probably the least of the threats facing the American worker. What also strikes me as ironic is how anti-immigration you are while you're simultaneously in love with the corporate overlords who want nothing more than cheap labor to exploit.

Yes, it was a bad horse trade.

The amnesty was given to the Democrats is return to a promise that the border would be controlled so that we would never need to have another amnesty again. The problem was what always happens in these Washington compromises: one side gets what it wants right away and the future promise has to rely on future Congresses to hold up the promise, so it never happens.

So you can well imagine why no one really wants to see any other amnesty, EVER. We know there will be no secure border to go with it no matter what the promise is.

I'd be willing to make a wager with you that Obama never gives amnesty to any illegals without Congress' approval.

You mean without corporate approval. The corporations meed all that cheap labor. it one of those never ending debates like budget "ceilings", health care "reform" and education "reform".

Endless debate like endless war shows they don't want a solution, just making you believe they are looking for one.

I said that Reagan was the reigning king and that's 100% true. Add up the other six and you're going to fall short of the total under Reagan. Somehow you still keep collecting stars for being wrong.

You think that's why Republicans keep supporting Amnesty? What was it Bush said?

fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled?

So you're position is that the GOP are well-intentioned though woefully feckless idiots who keep falling for the slick tricks of the Democrats?

100% 'true' eh.

Reagan passes 1 amnesty.

Clinton passes 6 of them.

And Reagans' king.

Funny but the guy who passed 6 of them is king.

They do keep trying, and they keep backing off when their phones melt.

I know that Democrat phones melted over Obamacare, so what is their excuse?

Actually.... they dont have plans to repeal the ACA,but modify it so its NOT A TAX with a fine attached if you dont buy it.
Also if they so desire it only takes 3 times to make a law veto proof not 50.

Except on Reagan's watch, amnesty was granted to more people than all of the others combined. Clearly this would make him the foremost. Why keep splitting hairs to defend GOP Saint Reagan? Being in denial isn't going to change the reality of the GOP's immigration reform history up to and including the various failed bipartisan legislation throughout the Bush and now Obama presidencies.

BTW, I am Native American.

As a Native American...I just laugh at all these cries about immigration and it's goal to destroy their ways of life
Kind of sounds familiar...you know what they say.."what goes around comes around"

I welcome our brothers and sisters from the south.

Of course you do, you're a democrat. You think your party will gain millions of new voters. The cost...trillions of dollars in welfare, but hey, your party wants everyone on welfare anyways. You want the masses to depend on government for their survival. It ensures your hold on power (so you think anyways), because it's obvious the majority doesn't support your ideas.

I have said this before.

If hispanics voted republican the left would'nt care about them.

As it has been proven time, and time again.

The left has little use for people who don't need government to live.

If that were true, the Democrats would be fighting tooth and nail against illegal immigration, too. But because they think they stand to gain from it, they're all for it.

That will be enough to kill aka as without the mandate or penalties it will just fall short for the insurance companies to keep the steady sign ups for their policies.

Reagan granted amnesty to only 3 millions with the promise of better border control.

The irony, now is whooping 13 millions with twice more that will still be here as illegals and triple by the time the next amnesty comes around.

You have no right to deny America to anyone.

Seriously! This has to be one of the dumbest things that I have read on this post.

I have every right to deny illegals to America. I was born here and I pay taxes. I am an American citizen that is my RIGHT to deny them. If you want to live in the USA then you should go through the proper channels to obtain legal citizenship.

For some reason is people out there that believe that the working class and tax payers that never get anything back from government is at the servitude of the none working and welfare class.

I guess the welfare system has created and entitlement class.

I don't understand why anyone thinks that Obama is a socialist. I can only attribute it to partisan brainwashing. You're talking about a guy who killed the public option. Beginning with Reagan, they've all been neoliberals. There's no left-wing party in the US let alone a socialist agenda.

Exactly. Government does not own Obamacare.
They just force the public to give money to the Healthcare and Insurance Private industry that bought our politicians via lobbyists. The Big Corporations use to the Government Big Stick to steal from us and benefit the top leaches.

Obamacare is Corporate Fascism at its finest.

You got it.
They have to play the masses as if Amnesty is all about those poor illegals.
